This is more like SNES graphics... The color palette is nes-like in quality, but the overall quality of the sprites are very 16 bit. And there's no sprite flicker either...

Hey, I guess you already have your remixes planned already, but if you do end up making a sequel, I'd love to hear remixes from Steve Winwood's "Valerie" (1982), and anything from Bruce Springsteen, but I think Born In The USA would work best (1984).
