Both phone has AMOLED screen, doesn't it? I don't see too much difference between HD and i8000, I think both phone has much the same good screen.

But I prefer Omnia II (i8000), altough it has "just" a 5MP camera, but it has larger screen and resolution, and better hadrwares. By the way, I also prefer WinMo than Symbian OS, but I also used to have a Symbian device, and I had no problems with it.

Hardware on the Omnia II sucks !!! At first, it has the old architecture CPU which is 3 times slower with the same frequency as the Cortex-A8 which is in the i8910 HD but underclocked to 600~Mhz. At the second, the graphics chip on the i8910 is much better than on the Omnia II.

The omnia HD is a video phone (the best video phone that exist) its suposed to have a better screen.

It wouldent be some spesial video phone if it dident have the good screen and sound. The firmware tho is not good.

I actualy prefer to wach movies on the Omnia HD.

Samsung just have the best screens AmOLED. No home cinima can mach up to the contrast and the darcness on Omnia HD.

But remember omnia II has some other meaning than video. I don't know but its shure good at something.

i8910 's black is way better

i8910 has more color (16million) than the GT-i8000(64k) . . .

so the GT-i8000 will have more details(800*600>640*360) but less color :)

@iraq2005 the omnia hd is definitely better. colours seem to pop out, thus the HD in its name. hope this helped =D
