I have 66 years and 30 days ago I bought a banjo for the first time.

I play the piano well and some guitar and this video really excited me, because my little 8 year old granddaughter, who accompanies me with his guitar and we're playing the red river valley and you are my sunshine, which are easier.

i played banjo for 2 years of my life. HARD instrument. thats a challenge. he'll be the next earl scruggs if he keeps it up

and thats a real banjo. some posers play a 6 string banjitar and call it a "banjo". same as guitar. but no talent. great job kid keep it up!

Yea.... a current and updated video would be real cool....Bet those kids are involved with their school work at the moment, though summertime is near...all we can do is hope....before you know it , with a blink of a eye, the kids will have their drivers licenses and will be doing their own thing, hopfully in driving off to collage....
