To say something stupid like the Legion is better than the US Marines is idiotic. You cannot compare the little battles the Legion were in with Iwo Jima, Guadalcanal, Okinawa, Belleau Wood, Chosin Reservoir, Tarawa, Korea, Hue, Fallujah etc. And the Legion didn't "fight to the last man" anywhere except Camerone when the Mexicans wiped them out. And they didn't fight to the last man at Dien Bien Phu. Get your facts straight before you come to a battle of wits half armed.

And further more, the U.S. Marines, much like other services has traditions, since 1775. Legion wasn't formed til early 1800's. And I WILL add yet further, the Marines fought many 'o battles where situation was "In Doubt" & still came out on top. Much repect to the Legion, but YOU dude, needa go check yourself & educate.
