I recently downloaded blender 2.59 and the collada plugin both in a zip file. I placed the collada plugin in the python folder, and ran blender. However, I tried to import some .dae files and blender won't open them. Does anyone know how to install the plugin in a proper way? There is no tutorial for doing this anywhere!
Oh man, you watch this video and you are ready to work in pixar. Anyway, the last part on the merging was a little bit confusing with the vertex mode thingy. thanks for this tut. Favorited and 5 stars.
You can't change the crosshair to a regular cursor. It is a fixed point in the 3-d space. You don't have to move the cursor at all, unless you want to put an object at a specific location(look at the wikibook, Blender 3D: noob to pro )
Thanks, but I notice you have an actual mouse pointer, as I am stuck with a plus sign. I only see a mouse cursor when I am in object mode; however, you seem to have one in all modes even edit mode. Not sure how you set that up.
brilliantly done, the speech was friendly but not too slow. The window displaying the current key and/or mouse button being pressed was an excellent idea, as was the explanation of the middle mouse button. The explanations of why each action was being made was easy to follow, with the explanations given were about right, not too overbearing or too minimal but right, at least for my taste. I shall be watching this again :)
WOw, this was really helpful for me. I downloaded the tutorial, and since I use AutoCAD all day figured it wouldn't be THAT hard to figure out, boy was I wrong! But now I see that it is pretty close to the same. You are way more useful than the help on their web page.
thanks for putting this together. I couldn't quite read the name of the app that shows the last key/mouse presses. It was very helpful. Can you provide any info? thanks.
Nice tut, your voice is very calming.

Sorry man, I've got no clue what's going on with that.

different models/versions of blender use different cursors, so it does the same thing even though it looks different
geek113377 2 years ago

shift+mousemidd !
well i know where is shift button
but how can i click on mousemidd
kurdistanikemm 4 years ago
Generally the scroll wheel is a button as well. Click that down; that is the middle mouse button.
If that doesn't work, the way to emulate that is to use ALT+LMB(LeftMouseButton)

ugh. i wish i could automatically know everything to do.
