  • Do you sell grooming dvds? I've watched a ton of your videos and I always find them the best!

  • don't wanna be negative but first time or beginner groomers really need to know about the flew of the lips being stretched out.. safety first :) awesome job with the video though! Thank you :)

  • To spanielmom - I really enjoy your videos. I just graduated from grooming school and start a job in a week. I am struggling with heads and feet in particular. If you have any suggestions for me, please let me know. Your videos are more helpful than the schooling I have completed. Thank you for posting these. Most of the videos I see don't provide much info and yours do. I do pretty good on the body. How long do you think it should take to become a decent groomer?

  • i have a toy poodle like the one in the video. his name is Rusty.he is 14 and he is so cute with long hair

  • I have a mini poodle but i can't get the top of her head like a 'fro :P her hair is wavy, any 1 know how to get it in a 'fro?

  • Te felicito, me gustan tus videos, aunque sea en idioma ingles, entiendo algunas cosas, pero no habra manera de que tengan subtitulos en español, tambien se ve que les tienes un gran amor y respeto a los perros,

  • I noticed you didnt do the fish hook when going over the lips. You should stress the importance of safety, for the first timers, when shaving the face on your videos. Love the cut :o)

  • wow i got same dog same color and same name i love my little snot!!!!

  • When you put the pattern on what blade do you use on a Standard Poodle?

  • Thank you for this awesome video! Can you maybe give me a hint, what can I do if my dog doesn't like being clipped and is trying to resist?

  • aww i like them with their natural hair...no cutting! i have one though shes 7 1/2 weeks old shes beautiful! lol

  • @TheZissiShow Poodles are ment to be clipped. ;) Why are you watching grooming videos if you aren't going to groom your poodle? Just curious...

  • @TheZissiShow well if ur poodle is that young then it probably doesnt need a haircut but once ur poodle is a about a year old then it will really need one bcus poodles dont shed.

  • dear spanielmom

can you tell me what is the difference between 1side boggling scissors and 2 side boggling scissors?i want to buy,but i dont know which one i choose

i hope you can understand my question cause my english is very bad:D

  • great help thank you so much! i just got my little girl....and i love her so much i have a shih tzu so i am used to grooming, but they are very different dogs...thanks again!

  • What brand of clippers do you use? And, when you trim leg feathers with clippers do you shave with or against the feathers?

    Please and thank you.

  • @animelover462 I use Andis Clippers, check out my video on clippers and blades that should help you. I clip with the lay of the coat almost all of the time, only exceptions are the face and a Poodles tail and paws. ;) Hope this helps.

  • do the blades touch the dogs skin when u trim and will they cut them.

  • Yes, you hold the blade against the skin of the dog gently and no it doesn't cut them unless you somehow pull the skin into the cutting part of the blade... make sense?

  • i found this old dog in the street some months ago. he's in really bad shape and i cannot afford to get him groomed. please help me and tell me what i need to do to properly groom him by myself. i really cannot afford to get him groomed professionally. im only 14. please message me how i can do this properly. i can probably afford cheap clippers.

  • do poodles shed? how many times should you groom your poodle(miniature)???

  • Poodles don't shed, and as far as how often it just depends on how you want to keep them. The longer you want a dog the more often it needs to be groomed. If you like them short they can go longer between grooming. ;)

  • This is a great video.. i like this cut :D very cute.. i will soon be getting a Toy or Teacup Poodle.. what cut would you suggest?.. i like the part about shaving around the neck for the collar.

  • Thanks for your comment and as far as what cut, you will just have to look at some and decide wich one you like best. You have to consider that puppies don't have the coat that an adult has and it will take time for him/her to look like JoJo. :)

  • This is very useful! But I have a question, do you know how to trim miniture poodles with scissors? ( Its probably easier with the shaver )

  • I could but I don't have anyone who requests it. All you do is fluff it out and sissor it smooth, kinda like I do on the legs but all over the dog. I would suggest finding a good pic of a poodle in the cut you want and work from that. Yes clipping is much much easier. :)

  • Great instructions, I have to say in my 10 years of being a dog stylist, no one has ever requested this clip(must be a regional thing?) I should start mentioning it beause it is very cute! The poodle loves hearing you talk, her tail is waggy, waggy, LOL

  • I only have one customer who requests it but I don't think it is regional... I just don't think it is well known about by customers... I would offer it, it's fun to do! ;)

  • HI, what brand of clipper are you using ! thanks for the video

  • So helpfull, mam... Btw, may i know what merck and type of your trimer? specialized for animal?? Safe for their skin?? Thank you very much, mam...

  • Thanks! It is a very nice little clip! You should show me when you get done. ;) I love seeing others dogs all groomed.

  • Cute trim, gonna try this on my mini poodle today.
