Damn, a 2.5+ ton brick going down the 1320 in 11.52? Now you know this thing is putting out some major power. Very nice. I'm really thinking of running a d1sc in my lm7 powered 98 s10. :)
@bengarris There is no switching between 2WD and AWD, the Torsen T-3 center diff is doing what it does through torque biasing...On hard launches, my truck exaggerates it's standard 33/67 limit because I am putting that much more power through the drivetrain...
@evilSS2006 generally speaking, in the LS world when you refer to "stock internals" that means all the stock internalls can take given the 1900 is maxed out or close to it. All right though, got a hke 403 with a maxed out d1sc now with awd lvl7 rpm 4l70, ported ls3's heads traps in the 130's but I baby it out of the hole to save the trans.
Yes, it is AWD...the 2WD burnouts are caused the torsen center differential doing with it is supposed to do, but since I make a buttload more power than the T3 was designed to carry, it simply exaggerates the torque split beyond the normal 33/67 limits!
It drives almost stock, you have to get into it a bit more on hills, but I've had 4 different converters in it and the Yank PTB3600 is by far the best and closest to stock AND the best track characteristics!
Doooood.....yes!

@ 99Silverado53 - The race weight was on a full tank of 91 octane in this video...just over 5200lbs.
@ mcgregor711 - It is an FLT Max Performance Level 7...specs are listed on their site at finishlinetrans(dot)com

@evilss2006 I too was going to ask how you were doing burnouts and boiling the rear tires without spinning the fronts...
Did you make any upgrades to the tcase or the front and rear diffs?

@bengarris
You can't switch it, lol.

Is this really an AWD? It looks like a 2WD when its doing a burnout.
