  • Don't think I'd get away with knocking anywhere in my house at the mo lol

  • Here because of my mom and Now and Then.

  • i want the 70s back!!!!

  • Great song ! This is me and my papas song we always sing and dance to it :)

  • Got this from the movie Now and Then!<3

  • Tony Orlando was tubbier than I had recalled. Hmm. Interesting.

  • They don't make good music like this anymore

  • This song was #1 the week I was born! Feb 11 1971!

  • @cosquan Did Facebook tell you this??

  • he actually had a pretty cool vocal.

  • kock 3 times on the ceiling? when i was little? we had a neighbor that lived above in our apartment?, nice guy? he would play along with this song just for fun everytime we played this song on our record player :)

  • omg i had the 45 ...LOL

  • This man is a stalker. He's probably collecting her garbage and making it into a dress.

  • YES IT WAS TONY & DAWN JUST WAS IN THERE YOUNGER DAYS

  • Apparently Dawn was blind.

  • This music is like nothing else. Love that spirit of the 70's.

  • this aint tony or dawn.. dickhead..............

  • this song brings back great memories of my oldest sister who fought a long illness

    and past at 53.

Oh the times she would knock on my head when this song played and we danced

    for hours.

Thanks for the memories the good ones are always the hardest to hold onto when

someone you love suffers so much.

  • This is 70's pop. Justin Bieber is today's pop. Wonder why people love the past?

  • did not even know music vids even exist back there, THANX 4 UPLOAD!

  • I thought Tony looked different. He looks nicer with the mustache.

  • wow too cool

  • heard this song for the 1st time 03/01/70, my aunt died that same day never will forget this song RIP aunt Geraldine

  • It's Freddy Mercury!

  • Do not read this cause it actually works : u will b kissed on the hand by the love of your life.tomarowill b the best day of your life: however if u do not post this on at least 3 vids u will die in the next 2 days!

  • Whats going on with all this knocking on the ceiling & pipes? Could'nt you just ring the doorbell? lol

  • I think this is a RARE 70S clip

  • 12-14-2011. Sake's alive, sake's alive, Joyce is 65. Happy Birthday, Joyce. I saw you all in March 1976 at the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC. I remember that you had suffered an ankle injury, but being the person that you are, you still came out and you all put on a hell of a show. Thank you.

  • One of the girls is an actor now.

Telma or Thema Hopkins is her last name I think

  • Tony is the straight man's Freddie Mercury.

  • Memories......this song brings a huge smile to my face.....

  • im 14.. i was born in the wrong era :/

  • Those black woman barely move their hips but god that gentle swivel back and forth is such a come hither and is soooo sexy....

  • fyi ...half of dawn telma hopkins later played in several sitcoms including rachel in family matters.

  • I watched the movie Now and Then and was instantly hooked on this song. It's brilliant. I'm a youngster, but 70's music makes our kind of music sound sickening. Can we go back to the 70's??

  • This is truly like a breath of fresh air after having to be stuck listening to a lot of today's sound ( noice - noice) .. & there are a lot of examples of these ( places like the gym) .But thanks to youtube I get to go down memory lane and dig the 70s...80s ...

  • Great tune. My parents used to play this while we all cleaned the house and did Saturdays chores. It made the work not so bad

  • very nice music, back to the days when ppl we're feeling good listening to music, unlike the gansta violent c.rap of today

  • Love this video! I'd like to have the outfits that "Dawn" is wearing! Classic! The 70's had some great music, but mostly good times! I'm 48 and I sure do miss those days!

  • Used to hear this mornings eatin' b-fast before school. kinda miss the 70's and 80's.

  • Is that the ny botanical gardens ?

  • i'm 44 and..well..............

  • Absolutely terrific song but how about those ladies "swaying"? They put you in the mood to sway along, they're so graceful. Tony is brilliant and incorporates all of the pathos of the 70's. Youth, love, fun and adventure, hope and optimism. Those were the days for America. I doubt they'll ever return to this scope. Nostalgia, yes. But a realistic look at 2011 makes one really, really miss those days. Gone forever!

  • Oh my darling tug three times on balls if you want me !!

  • @kuko6923 LMAO! I had to laugh at that lol

  • i love u

  • I used to sit at the top of the stairs around 1972 playing with my lego, this seemed to be on the radio every day.

    Great to hear it again.

  • @jimtheskim i love it when people give their personal connection to the music. In my case i was playing with the lego around 1969 and listening to my dads classical. Tho 60's and 70's music rules.

  • The 70's... looks like a dead muskrat on his chest. Cracks me up

  • 33 people didnt show!!!!!!!

  • I have a Tony Orlando album, and used to watch his TV show.

  • Today I saw this girl, WOW she was gorgeous! I just didn't have the guts to say anything :(

  • i grew up listening to songs like these cus thats all my parents would listen too and now i just cant get enough of them and im 23

  • Very good.

  • hey it,s louongo from the canucks ,,cant play goal worth shit ...

  • The only one showing cleavage has a lot of hair on his chest. LOL

I love this group, but they are so hysterically stiff in this video. We put more life in my cousins home movies circa 1974.

Lots of fun, though. Great song. Nice job!

  • WHat a nutjob. There is a restraining order on the way if there ever was one.

  • Still a good song no matter how old this song has become! Oldie but a goodie!

  • this is from now and then

  • RW

  • This gorgeous girl used to live above me, would come down to my apartment and give me the best blowjobs. That three knocks on the ceiling really works, of course I would have to pay $10.00 per knock!

  • Is it just me or has a lot of history been repeating it self? really the music was great!! no one really understand but todays music is really sucking... other than Trance/techno... and some punk... but you get the idea... my bus driver told me i remind her of how kids were back in the 70's. i wear a lot of Band t's and skinny jeans :D thumbs up if you dress like me :D

  • @DJHeroMist Dam! We got the same taste in music! I agree with you. This music has a lot of meaning and memories for those that lived in the original old buildings of the Bronx and Brooklyn NY whe we use to communicate with the other floors either by knocking on the sealing with the broom, stumping on the floor for daownstairs, or hitting the arsenic pipes with a spoon or butter knife. I'm glad I shared a piece of history to the young generation that never understood his song! Muchas Gracias!

  • @MrChristopher1213 lol. i have seen plenty of movies an heard plenty from my parents. They tell me all the time how different life was incomparison to now. i see a lot of difference. i just wish it was as easy as it was back then. but the fact that no one cares about the past mistakes that look what happens to now. yeah thats something. back then not having PC's and cells and all the gadgets we have today was a whole other world. it shows a BIG difference. people dont even have to leave home now

  • He was so young .. I have not heard this song in a long time..

  • i'm just 13 and this is my first dance at the party...makes me laugh....now...

  • Any posts of their song, Pick It Up? It was the flip side of He Don't Love You (Like I Love You).

  • I love Tony and those beautiful sisters. I was a young girl when this song was out and I loved his TV show!

  • The modern day cutie that reminds me of Tony is Nic Gonzales of the band Salvador..

  • My aunt sent me to mallorca spain as a graduation present.. A whole class of students my age were in the hotel where I stayed. It was during a big soccer championship game (1982) and I could barely keep my eye on the ball.. Afterwards I was in my room taking a shower and heard the guys up the pipe per say from me.. I could swear that I knocked a few taps on the pipe to get their attention.. Ahh.. Louis you were my Tony Orlando.. and I was dancing alone in my room until I met you <3 Back in '82

  • @TubularToftemark Aww this was sweet.

  • he looks like he could be Mark Sanchez's dad!! lol Good tune

  • He looks like John Travolta back in the day.

  • I Saw Tony in Branson,Mo. Still got it and grooving.

  • Tony Orlando was a total babe

  • I'm listening...is that two or three...

  • Knock three times on the ceiling if you're horny...

  • didn't tony grow a big fat mustache?

  • I dont know why teenagers like me don't like songs like these. It's a great song. Oldies are the best. :)

  • Eric Estrada and the Supremes!

  • He's pretty cute but do those 2 have to parade around like skanks with drenching wet underwear around him??? I bet he smells like a Cheese Factory and those 2 Hickey-Tits want to devour him like a Pizza. Whores!

  • @SassyBratt1

Stop reading into shit that's not there. As far as we know, your ass is probably a damn $2 trick ass skank whore behind closed doors.

  • Now this is music. This was my Mom oldest sister favorite song, i remember when this song came out, it was just before the Christmas holiday in the 70's and we partied hard off it.

  • What, no thick 'stache?

  • I saw Tony Orlando and Dawn in March 1976 at the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC. The show was delayed due to an ankle injury to Joyce. Her ankle was taped up and she was toted out and placed on a stool, where she remained for the entire concert. Despite this, it was still a good show.

  • good

  • I'm actually digging this song. Or is it diggin?

  • I agree. This would be a good song to sing on American Idol.

  • Great song and the rug on his chest is something to treasure - but the broads look as though they would rather be knocking on someone else's ceiling. I reckon the only way to get them to move more would be to stick a battery up their clacker.....

  • so much chest hair...

  • they were singin about sex then and they still are today :p how times haven't changed

  • So I'm guessing 26 people knocked twice on the pipe :P

  • Saw him last nite on Jimmy Fallon-he still got it, & I still love him!!!

  • im 16 and still listening to 70s lol but hey its great music

  • @codycrimescene very smart 16 yr old.

  • @codycrimescene hell dude i am 20 and i grew up listening to this stuff and i still listen to it! 60's and the 70's have great love songs, the 80's have some but mostly punk rock. listen to Mandy by Barry Manilow, one of my favorite oldies :)

  • @codycrimescene me too. thanks to Sunday morning oldies song in the radio where i discovered these songs

  • @codycrimescene me too haha i like older times better than now

  • music never will be like this again, this music was on when I was a baby

  • @madg27ny yep for me too ('72), and my Dad's shirts all had really BIG collars. :)

  • The young woman with the shoulder length hair is Telma Hopkins, She played the role of Rachel Crawford in the sitcom Family Matters.

  • I've always found this song sweet and charming

  • Talma Hopkins was, and is still one of the most beautiful women to ever walk on Planet Earth!

  • Tony...you call this dancing? Come on dude, get into the music.

  • .. . . . unbuttoned shirts were fashionable in the early seventies, and if you had hairy chest girls wouldn't leave alone. And that's why I was lonely back then, damn it !!

  • Hey girl watcha doin down there?.....Well if you have to ask!

  • love this song!! hahaha

  • WHY THE HELL WAS THIS VID IN MY FAVOURITES!??

  • I'll be honest.. fellas, it was sounding great. But.. I could've used a little more pipe. So.. let's take it again.. and, Tony.. I mean, really.. explore the space. I like what I'm hearing. I'm telling you, fellas -- you're gonna want that pipe on the track! I gotta have more pipe!

  • You can have Tony Orlando! Once he grew that big, bushy moustache it was over for us! Then you couldn't tell him and Freddie Prinze apart! Forgive me, I'm drifting back to the 70's. When I die, I hope I wake up 16 again in 1976. It could happen!

  • Yes, I knew her name, I just wanted to keep her all for myself! She is a Fox! In other words, I had a big crush too!

  • It recently occurred to me that if he can feel her body swaying from the floor below him, she's got to weigh upwards of 400 lbs. And can you imagine what the people in the apartment below her must think? Or everyone else in the building when all the knocking on ceilings and/or pipes start? I've really got to stop analyzing lyrics to bad songs.

  • @willthethrill1974 just means it's crappy apts! lived in one wher if your neighbour slammed their door, the needle would jump on the record. or you're just dropping off too sleep and you hear someone fart next door

  • 24 people knocked twice on the pipe.

  • The girl with the long hair played Aunt Rachel on "Family Matters." Just some useless trivia.

  • @jimbamboozled miss telma hopkins is her name. my first case of puppy love at 5 years old. she's 62 years old now, and still as beautiful as she was then!

  • @jimbamboozled telma hopkins ... She was and is so beautiful.... I LOVE HER!

  • This is an exceptionally creepy song. I don't get how anyone could find this sweet. Ok a creepy stranger watches you from his floor... great...

  • holy chest hair

  • what a groovy tune man tony orlando and dawn. man they sway back and forth.later man?

  • ok is it me or is tony that hot dammmm. love this clip.

  • love this song

  • only for you tabby superfan...

  • They look like an Oreo cookie.

  • I remember listening to a Spanish-language cover of this song, it brings back so many memories yet I'm just 18 years old right now. Sad thing is, it'll be next to impossible to find that version of the song...

  • Wholesome yet suggestive, and just plain FUN... great old tune. Reminds me of Afternoon Delight, which I LOVED when I was a kid and had no idea what it meant, or why my step mother hated it. lmao Btw, Tony was a pretty good lookin dude without that lip ferret he grew later on.

  • Classic! Where did all those good times go??

  • This song is so catchy :) What happened to fun, non-annoying music like this?

  • 23 people got twice on the pipe

  • this would be a great song to sing on american idol

  • @dodge96neon i don;t think that it would be alllowed on american Idol... I doubt that anyone on that show can sing this song

  • @dodge96neon he was a very talented man...memories for me

  • i wouldn't give a talentless maunfacured shite show like that a great one hit wonder like this to screw up!

  • @dodge96neon only if hollywood could fit it in the script and plan it out like the rest of the show :)

  • Hi tony, Would u please put it in me? Thank you, ur fan, John.

  • @SeeburgMusic Damn your hot and gay ;) wink wink
