My brother is a law enforcement officer. My significant other is a LEO. Neither are corrupt & both have risked their lives in vehicle accidents & shootings to apprehend criminals who would likely have killed other people without their intervention. Corruption exists, but the good far outweigh the bad.

Some community groups stood their ground outside Mosques and residential areas, but the riots were mainly shop looting by this point so the action was more to dissuade further trouble rather than deal with it. Basicly the Police did deal with them and because of the sheer volume still are.
