Really Awesome & Wonderful Amazing Singing Performance By Bishop Carlton Pearson Here!! I Loved It Alot!! A Big Huge Tripled Thumbs Up!! Keep Up The Fantastic Job!! Stay Blessed!!
Beautiful! Come back to truth Bishop! I remember a sermon you preached years ago called "Davids Place Was Empty". Your place is empty and we miss you from the Body of Christ. Let go of what happened in 93/94. It messed you up. God knows and you know what I am talking about.
two central points of confusion about basic Christians doctrine become clear in listening to Mr. Pearson's commentary. 1) He does not appear to grasp /acknowledge the devastating and unrelenting reality and consequences of evil in this life. If some evil person were to commit some manner of unspeakable acts against a person's love ones (which happens regularly) would he still insist there is no divine, eternal judgment ? 2) He fails to understand the eternal security of the believer in Christ
I don't care how many discussions one may have or how many theologians there may be. John states: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God." Sometimes people can get to "deep". Satan loves for people to argue the Word. Arguing causes confusion and God didn't write that book. He isn't the author of it. (1Cor. 14:33). Do not give the devil any pleasure. Those who do not believe in God anymore, "Pray without ceasing." (1Thess. 5:17) God Bless Everyone.
@dag -oh disgoose, I am now confused and disappointed. You are the one insisting that you oppose "narrow" limited concepts of God. Now that you hear the Truth you want to hurl invectives and insults my way (e.g.,"hypocritical" christians, etc).Besides the fact that you are being rude and offensive, can you see that you are illogical ? If all roads ultimately lead to God regardless of beliefs, conduct & teachings, then what shd it matter to you that one is a hypocrite, liar or murderer ?
my friend doesnt believe in God anymore just because her mom and older brother doesnt she kept saying she had a bad lifeand i kept telling her God has a plan for her but she wont listen:( ps. hes dad was very nice but her mom wanted him to divorce him so he moved to toronto with her dog.i wish i can help.
This WHOLE doggone thread became a straight-up bitchfest between StephanAOTTO1 (who appears to have had his/her account suspended) and the other fanatic, TheologicalStudies. LOL.
I've know many like you who simply adore the orthodox God of the Bible, the King James version in particular, because, well, it gives them an excuse to treat people like crap because, in the B, G's presented as being resentful, jealous, envious, vengeful, etc., much like they are, heck, much like the writers of 'scripture' were, apparently. So, it should come as no surprise that you'd despise any differing doctrine, as they do tend to get in the way of all of that festering belittlement.
I'm not treating anyone like crap. It's not in my nature. I find doing so to be rather soul-draining. I am, however, telling you of the similar patterns of those who express ideas similar to yous, based upon my personal experience.
You expected to have your word taken as law. You have been rebuffed.
I've read the Bible plenty, thanks. That's how I know it's the word of man.
You need to repent first then ask Christ to save you from your sins. Salvation is explained in the Bible. When you are converted you will have the Holy Spirit living inside of you and then you will be able to see more clearly what the Bible is talking about.
It's your choice. God gives you a choice he wants you to choose life.
Again, worry about your own soul. It's been my experience that those who are always telling others how to get "saved" are usually the ones with the biggest & most skeletons in their closet, and, therefore need more "saving" than anyone. Inoother words, your tragic obsession w/ my soul is a pretty good indicator that there's something going on/wrong w/in yours. Fix your soul before you try to "advise" others on how to "save" theirs.
As I stated many comments ago, Jesus Christ told His disciples to leave the prescence of those who aren't interested in hearing what they had to say. It's totally fascinating how you've repeatedly displayed your absolute refusal to do as JC taught, yet, you call yourself a "Christian", a person who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Perhaps you only follow His teachings when your ego's not involved...wait, but, when would that be...?
You folk are hilarious! I mean, do you all have some sort of script, or something. All of you use the exact same phrases at the exact same times, etc., as if trained...left turn, right turn, must find the cheese, must find the cheese...LOL.
LOL I'm no hypocrite, but, you already know that. desperation does not look good on you. The best, most virulent hypocrisy in the world s purpotrated by Bible-thumpers, constantly condemning others for committing the same "sins" that they, themselves, commit more than anyone else, when they're behind closed doors & believe/think/hope/pray that no one's watching.:)
It's hilarious watching all of the holier-than-thous scrambling, now that CDP has blown the lid off of the whole dogmatic, stifling religious thing(having people read the Bible IN CONTEXT & having them learn its TRUE history(not so holy)), the one thing the HTTs used to try to make themselves appear 'better' than their fellow man, w/ their sanctimonious usernames, which remind me of those people w/ the scriptural ribbons who JC always ridiculed & warned us about.
And you have read the Bible in context? What scriptures exactly say that everyone will be saved whether they believe in Christ or not? Where does it say that there is no hell? Unless you leave out scriptures or take them and twist them you won't find that the Bible supports the gospel of inclusion.
How is the Bible's true history not so holy?
Christ is against hypocrisy. Exposing false teachings has nothing to do with hypocrisy. Christians are supposed to contend for the faith.
There are a few things of which you're obviously not aware. No one cares what you think or how you try to position yourself as being some sort of PHONEY standard-bearer for holiness, only to be busted in your own hipocrisy.
Now, do as JC taught his disciples & leave the prescence of someone who isn't interested in your blather.
I'm neither impressed nor amused by your self-righteousness.
Phony & self-righteous. You forgot self-righteous. Just as I suspected. Anopther so-called "Christian" refusing to do as JC actually taught His disciples.
Why am I not surprised.
It would be so nice if, at least, ONE of you actually followed His directives, instead of just tauting them to others.
All of that said, everyone should view the following:A&ETV series, "Mysteries of The Bible", History Channel specials "Banned Books Of The Bible" & "Banned From The Bible". In these tv shows, theological scholars deconstruct the hellish history of the Bible. Church folk LOVE to pretend that the Bible is one document, singularly inspired by God. It is NOT. It is a collection of writings selected by bishops(cont'd)
(cont'd)who selected only the most conservative writings which would keep them in power in the church, while refusing to include ANY writings which challenged their perceptions of themselves or their position. Then, as now, there have ALWAYS been many different religious sects, all of which had differing views on EVERYTHING, including JC. In order to maintain control over church thought, entire sects were WIPED OUT, massacred, their writings destroyed to maintain that control.
So, in essence, the Bible is not The Word Of God. It is, in fact, the approved doctrine of The Church, the word of man, collected, constructed, adapted, (mis)interpreted for its own sake, to the detriment of all else.
Now, those past misdeeds are coming to light to bite the church & religion, itself, on its backside. Now that people realize the dogmatic stranglehold the church had over the minds of humanity, (cont'd)
(con't)was maintained for the sake of its own survival & NOT God's inspiration, people are asking questions & DEMANDING answers, which the church refuses to provide, for fear that the truth will lead to its ultimate annihilation. What they don't get is that they're speeding up that process by ignoring requests for information. Also, most 'preachers' don't have a clue about church & biblical history, either, but, the wiser ones are learning & their doctrines are shifting.
People are reading everything they can get their hands on, studying the history, cultural context & evolution of the Bible, its authors, their agendas, etc., refusing to be led by the nose by those w/ a vested interest in keeping the populace ignorant in order to maintain control. Questions are being answered. Ideas are evolving. Lives & doctrines are being challenged & changed, which is why the church hates the work of people like CDP(cont'd)
(cont'd), for the more people begin to think for themselves, as opposed to accepting church doctrine as The Undisputed Truth it never was, the less power & influence the church & its doctrines have over them, and that, in essence, is the church's GREATEST FEAR-the inevitability of its own irrelevance.
The Bible is the Word of God. And Jesus is God. These are the very basics of the Christian faith. Without believing these things you cannot call yourself a true Christian.
The scriptures are there to reveal to you who God is and to act as a history of God's people. Making up your own God in your head is really no God at all but a false God of your own imaginations. That is where you fall into error and apostasy.
The books of the Bible were written by different people yet they all point in the same direction.
You have the messianic prophecies that prove that the Bible is God's word along with extra biblical proof.
Jewish historian Josephus for example with the historical accounts of the death and resurrection of Christ. Also the historical account of Christ's brother James martyrdom.
Unless you have a reprobate mind there is lots of proof out there.
The Books which were allowed into the Bible all point in the same direction because the only books which were allowed into the Bible were the ones which pointed in the same direction...the one which assured the power of the church over the people.
Ah, 'reprobate', another pseudo-eccliastic classic.
The scriptures were there way before they were compiled into the modern day Bible that we have today.
The point is that you get different men used to write the different books of the Bible and yet they all fit together. No human could ever accomplish that. No human could prophesy future events such as the coming of Christ, the death and resurrection and the rejection of Christ by the Pharisees.
It's not about organized religion. It's about Christ.
Of course, many writings existed before the Bible compilation, but, only the most orthodox writings were allowed into the Bible by the bishops who compiled it.
No human could forsee a man who preached loving each other & nonjudgement, being rejected by the conservative church & its 'leaders'?
Anything that got in the way of the usual church doctrine & power was declared 'heretical'(big deal), such as the belief that the earth wasn't flat and revolved around the sun, as opposed to the other way around. That word has no effect on me or any other thinking person.
I'll believe ackowledged scholars looong before I believe you.
Your condescension is boring, your attempts at forceful conversion, futile.
Gee, the guys who wrote what was allowed into the Bible said that anyone who teaches differently from what they do is wrong? Get out! You don't say? Surprise, surprise, men trying to protect their own turf.
And why should heresies be allowed to go unchallenged? They are a threat to the gospel of Christ. This is not a free for all where you can make up whatever you want and call it God's word. That would be utter chaos and confusion. God is not the author of confusion.
Believers are supposed to contend for the faith and expose false teachings.
To you, everything is a threat. That's called desperate insecurity, which, in this case, explains a lot...about a great many things you're displaying here on this comment board.
I'm not threatened by the the false gnostic teachings since I know they are heretical in nature.
When one is in Christ there is no insecurity. It is the unsaved who have no solid foundation to stand on. Christ is the rock. There is nothing insecure about that.
Then you must not be "in Christ(eww, btw lol)", b/c you're displaying some serious insecurity here, going for all the old disparagements whenever you see something you don't like because you're not getting your way.
What's really going on here is that it drives you NUTS that people aren't listening to you anymore because they've FINALLY woken up & begun to think for themselves, so, you, like the Islamists, come up w/ all kinds of names, denunciations & accusations against the new guy who's taking away all of your old business. Pathetic.
There's a new/old doctrine in town & your old customers aren't coming back. People are no longer willingly suffering for YOUR VERSION of God just b/c you say to.
What's really going on here is that you are a mocker of God and the scriptures. Can anyone say apostasy? This is a serious issue and you are the last one that should be throwing any accusations when your eternal salvation is at stake.
You know what, if people don't want to listen to me then I guess I will just get a bigger mansion in heaven since there will be more room for all believers in Christ. Your damnation doesn't personally affect me so you are wrong there.
LIke I said, whenever you don't like what you see or hear or can't handle not being taken at your word, you all go for all of the usual names. It's so tired. it's been done. Really, you're behaviour's no better than the jihadists who do the same thing for the same reasons.
Your arrogance amazes me. You cannot prove that the Bible is just the word of man. Using heretical gnostic gospels to do so is irrelevant since they are in error and contradict the entirety of the Bible.
The Bible interprets itself.
The Bible proves itself and doesn't need your help.
Historical accounts and fulfilled prophecies are proof that the Bible is indeed God's Word.
I'm not arrogant. I just know better. The Bible, like any other of man's writings' doesn't 'do' anything itself.
"Heretical"? LOL Whatever. I've already proven that the Bible, like the Quran, Talmud, Torah, Egyptian & Tibetan Books of The Dead are all the word of man. I don't care what you believe. Funny thing about prophecies. When anyone else does them, they're evil, but, claim to do it in God's name, &, suddenly, it becomes 'holy'.
I don't have any customers so I don't know what you are talking about. I don't think that serving God is a way to become rich.
And believers suffer for the gospel because they know that Christ is real and that they are citizens of heaven and that their eternal life will more than make up for any crap they have to put up with down here.
That's right, they're looking for a reward. They do whatever they think is necessary in order to get something in return. Typical. it's, actually, pretty Pavlovian, when one thinks about it. Also, they do it in order to have SOMETHING they think will make them, somehow, 'better' than other people, to whom they usually feel inferior. See it all the time. Same mentality as the country clubber...
Really? You don't know what you are talking about. Ever read the Book of Job? That is the exact same thing that Satan accused Job of. Are you working for the Devil by accusing believers of the same thing?
Believers are not Pavlovian dogs but it would seem that the followers of New Age are.
How does being a believer make someone better than someone else? I'm redeemed not superior. It is the New Agers that are full of pride just like Satan is.
Ah, yes, the old 'if you DARE disagree w/ me, you must be lin league w/ the devil' accusation...
Again, tired. It's been done. It fails every time & usually comes back to haunt those who make such ridiculous accusations, so, be careful.
Those who always crow about the supposed 'sins' of others usually do so in order to distract attention from their own, though, they're usually discovered anyway.
Good for you. I wasn't raised in a church and I never went to church growing up. I haven't found a church yet that didn't vary from the Bible on certain issues so what's your point?
The church doesn't save you Christ does. I learned from the Bible which is God's Word. If you have a problem with that then I am sorry for you.
And you are the one who is doing the name calling and being a jerk.
I have no tricks even though today is Halloween but nice try.
No, you ust thought that you could spew a few...whatevers, & I'd, somehow, cower before you, like some weak-minded fool. Sorry, but, not going to happen. I know you holier-than-thous aren't big on self-respect(as you can't control the minds of those who have it), but I've still got it.
If you don't like what I'm posting, stop responding.
I don't need you to cower before me I'm not God but, you should repent before God and turn from your sins.
I think it is weak minded to believe in New Age mumbo jumbo since it really doesn't make any sense. Emptying your mind is the exact opposite of thinking and that is what the New Age promotes among other things that are not sound.
Only God is holy. I've never once said that I was holy. That is your accusation.
No one wants to control you except maybe the New Age gurus.
Sins? You know absolutely nothing about me & my relationship w/ my God. I believe in Him. I don't however, believe in what you try to tell me about God, as you & other men tend to lie about such things in a way that always seems to benefit you. Whatever NA m-j's out there exists b/c of your stifling dogmas. People do not want to spend their lives in bandage, terrified of every little things. You caused your own dissension in the ranks.
It is the Devil that is the liar. You're saying that the truth is a lie and that a lie is the truth?
And yes I said sins. Because anyone that says they are without sin is a liar and the truth is not in them.
You don't understand who you are as a lost sinner in relation to a holy God. That is the first step that leads to repentance.
Christ sets you free. Believers live by grace. I have freedom in Christ. I am not in bondage. However, if you are unsaved then you are in bondage to sin.
If some part is contrary to the word..then the gospel of inclusion is not right. To what extent is inclusion. Jesus offer salvation for the whosoever will come. But shall we continue in SIN that grace may abound (continue). Absolutely not.. I know we don't stop our sinful habits in one day but to mislead people and tell them that you can live the way you want as a fornicater, adulterer, drug addict because the gospel of inclusion allows that when jesus died for on the cross is total MESS.CHANGE
our brother has another spirit. If he's reprobate, then all the praying in the world won't help/ I pray that God has not given him over to a reprobate man.
Keep moving DOC because people in the world have the impression that everything we are offering is real. It takes more courage to embrace change then to be trapped by the tragic tradiition of rhetoric and religion
I don't agree with him at all about the inclusion stuff, but I will always love him. After all God will always love him no matter what decision he makes with his future.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
The Devil is a liar!!!! Listening to him sing just gives me the creeps!! I'm starting to feel sick. I'm leaving this demonic cult video. The wages of sin is still Death! God's word will always remain the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am praying for you and your cult follower's.
I love him too. At first I thought he was going crazy, BUT THEN..hahhahaha........God began to change me slowly and surely and pull the veil off of my eyes. I can never go back to old thinking and believing.
A change is coming to the body of Christ....The truth of what the Gospel and Love of God is.......thank you Lord!.
I hear something a disquieted voice. If his new found perspective has caused a breach in foundational relationships or there is an emptiness that's been filled with blind hope. I hear a voice, deep in his soul needing to be heard. There is a deeper cry not revealed by print. Somehow, I understand this disquieting, I have gone through similar for different reasons. I'll say to him as one preacher once said to me, "Bishop, don't stop singing". Be Blessed Bishop LAF Sr.
inclusion is false theology on the gospel of Christ, it is not Biblicaly sound in any way. its not in the Bible, Christ Himself never preached it at anytime. Pearson had his time as a great bishop, i loved his cds, but he has changed not the gospel. inclusion is of the devil, if not then there would be no need for Christ, if everyone was going to Heaven without being saved. it is an insult to Christ to say such thing, after all he suffered. where is your proof? you have none!
That's the whole point. If there is no judgment and eternal punishment then what do we need to be saved from? The gospel of inclusion is no gospel at all. It is a false gospel and the Bible clearly states that anyone preaching a false gospel is condemned.
This is an insult to the sacrifice of Christ on the cross as an atonement for our sins.
People need to read their Bibles and not be so gullible in believing whatever sounds good to their itchy ears.
My eyes are filled with tears because this is so true I thank God for Bishop Carlton Pearson lived a life that was flatering but excepted the change and now is living the blessing of obediance inclusion is not wrong its the will of God listen to him dont not judge him and you will find out this great and magnaimous truth.
I was there when Bishop Carlton Pearson sang this at The Gathering - it was completely electric - I am so grateful for his presence, wisdom and courage. Blessings on your ministry.
I was not there but i had the chance to watch it at a friends house one afternoon just fantastic..if you want to listen to similar stuf like this listen to our online radio show just go to Darimar Entertainment dot calm and click the radio icon you will be inspired
I'm just saying....listen to the tone of the anti-CDP comments, as well as the words. There's a sheer bitterness there that is unfathomable. Some people just do not want others to be happy.
last year, and I gotta be honest with you, it made me look at my belief pattern and made me ask some questions. The more I hear about it, the more it makes sense to me. However, I now feel torn between what I've discovered, and what has been taught, as well as dealing with fellow believers who are bent on believing that Bishop Pearson is wrong.
It's definitely a battle, struggle, all of the above.
Your conflict is understandable, as what you've been taught is a part of your roots, &, perhaps, even, your personal sense of identity, &, to change your way of thinking on this issue is, basically, saying that everything you've eve known about these subjects wasn't true.
It's very difficult to leave one's familiar & comfortable zone, but, if CDP's message is one of freedom to you, leaving the former behind is precisely what you'll have to do, even if it means doing it alone...
It's wonderful to hear that someone else will be preaching this wonderful message, B!!:) I wish you nothing but the greatest of success in all of your endeavours!
frankly, I'm really not in the mood to be bothered by yet someone else feeling threatened by the love brought by CDP's message, but:
Jesus said to "love ALL mankind". That IS inclusion. Jesus said that only God chooses who is to be saved. People don't reject Christ. They reject your view of Him that you've tried to shove down their throats. Now, however, the more they actually read what he taught, they're realizing that what he taught & what you TTSDTT are not the same thing.
It's always so amazing how so many so-called "Christians" are ALWAYS the first ones to try to judge & tear someone else down, especially when all they're doing is trying to help people. I'll be glad when "christians" begin to treat people the way JC actually taught them to.
It's amazing that people don't read their Bibles. If they did then they wouldn't fall for such heresies in the first place.
People are too lazy to take any responsibility for themselves. It is just a whole lot easier to believe someone that is preaching a sounds good and feels good message.
Even the evil one can appear as an angel of light. Don't be fooled. This message is not from God.
The Bible is the word of man, not God. We've all already figured that out. God created us w/ everything we need to understand Him...or Her. Your stifling dogmas & scripture-snatching are neither desired nor required. Face it, it's over.
Find something else to overcompensate for your feelings of desperate inferiority & do it on someone else's time.
Christians are to contend for the faith and expose false teachings.
Christ didn't say that everyone will be saved. That is the real point here. Anyone can give you a feel good heresy but what about your eternal salvation?
Satan knows the bitter pill is easier to swallow if he coats it with some sugar. You need discernment regarding this.
Everything is not always as it seems on the surface.
there is no such thing as a "NEW THOUGHT MOVEMENT" the bible says not to add or take away from the book which he clearly has, for your sake and his, i pray that GOD will reveal himself to you dont let your ignorance of the scripture send you to hell!!!!!!!!!!! there is one gospel the gospel of jesus christ, anything else is an abomination!!! please get away from this man i beg you, and pray for him, as i do, for him and you
This so called New Age movement has been around for a while. It is the same old lie that the serpent deceived Eve with in the Garden of Eden.
What better way for Satan to deceive the masses than to present them with a false gospel that appeals to man's human nature. Did you expect the Devil to scare you into worshiping him? The Devil knows you will swallow the bitter pill if it has been sugar coated.
Don't let Satan make a fool out of you. Read the Bible and wake up to this deception.
1.The BOOK has ALREADY been added to and taken away from many, many times over. Study history and learn.
2.God doesn't need you to defend HIM. He's been doing just fine WITHOUT YOU for THOUSANDS OF YEARS.
3.GOD has revealed Himself to ME and HE opened my eyes to people like YOU!
4. It's still a free country (except for the freedoms bushy took from us), so why are YOU trying to tell others what to do and how to live???? Who do YOU think YOU are?

two central points of confusion about basic Christians doctrine become clear in listening to Mr.

The best, most virulent hypocrisy in the world s purpotrated by Bible-thumpers, constantly condemning others for committing the same "sins" that they, themselves, commit more than anyone else, when they're behind closed doors & believe/think/hope/pray that no one's watching.:)
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
It's hilarious watching all of the holier-than-thous scrambling, now that CDP has blown the lid off of the whole dogmatic, stifling religious thing(having people read the Bible IN CONTEXT & having them learn its TRUE history(not so holy)), the one thing the HTTs used to try to make themselves appear 'better' than their fellow man, w/ their sanctimonious usernames, which remind me of those people w/ the scriptural ribbons who JC always ridiculed & warned us about.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
And you have read the Bible in context? What scriptures exactly say that everyone will be saved whether they believe in Christ or not? Where does it say that there is no hell? Unless you leave out scriptures or take them and twist them you won't find that the Bible supports the gospel of inclusion.
How is the Bible's true history not so holy?
Christ is against hypocrisy. Exposing false teachings has nothing to do with hypocrisy. Christians are supposed to contend for the faith.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
There are a few things of which you're obviously not aware. No one cares what you think or how you try to position yourself as being some sort of PHONEY standard-bearer for holiness, only to be busted in your own hipocrisy.
Now, do as JC taught his disciples & leave the prescence of someone who isn't interested in your blather.
I'm neither impressed nor amused by your self-righteousness.
I'm bored by it.
Good day.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
What things am I not obviously aware?
How is the Bible's true history not so holy?
I'm not the phony here.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
Phony & self-righteous. You forgot self-righteous. Just as I suspected. Anopther so-called "Christian" refusing to do as JC actually taught His disciples.
Why am I not surprised.
It would be so nice if, at least, ONE of you actually followed His directives, instead of just tauting them to others.
Just once...
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
All of that said, everyone should view the following:A&ETV series, "Mysteries of The Bible", History Channel specials "Banned Books Of The Bible" & "Banned From The Bible". In these tv shows, theological scholars deconstruct the hellish history of the Bible. Church folk LOVE to pretend that the Bible is one document, singularly inspired by God. It is NOT. It is a collection of writings selected by bishops(cont'd)
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
(cont'd)who selected only the most conservative writings which would keep them in power in the church, while refusing to include ANY writings which challenged their perceptions of themselves or their position. Then, as now, there have ALWAYS been many different religious sects, all of which had differing views on EVERYTHING, including JC. In order to maintain control over church thought, entire sects were WIPED OUT, massacred, their writings destroyed to maintain that control.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
So, in essence, the Bible is not The Word Of God. It is, in fact, the approved doctrine of The Church, the word of man, collected, constructed, adapted, (mis)interpreted for its own sake, to the detriment of all else.
Now, those past misdeeds are coming to light to bite the church & religion, itself, on its backside. Now that people realize the dogmatic stranglehold the church had over the minds of humanity, (cont'd)
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
(con't)was maintained for the sake of its own survival & NOT God's inspiration, people are asking questions & DEMANDING answers, which the church refuses to provide, for fear that the truth will lead to its ultimate annihilation. What they don't get is that they're speeding up that process by ignoring requests for information. Also, most 'preachers' don't have a clue about church & biblical history, either, but, the wiser ones are learning & their doctrines are shifting.
Nice.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
People are reading everything they can get their hands on, studying the history, cultural context & evolution of the Bible, its authors, their agendas, etc., refusing to be led by the nose by those w/ a vested interest in keeping the populace ignorant in order to maintain control. Questions are being answered. Ideas are evolving. Lives & doctrines are being challenged & changed, which is why the church hates the work of people like CDP(cont'd)
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
(cont'd), for the more people begin to think for themselves, as opposed to accepting church doctrine as The Undisputed Truth it never was, the less power & influence the church & its doctrines have over them, and that, in essence, is the church's GREATEST FEAR-the inevitability of its own irrelevance.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
The Bible is the Word of God. And Jesus is God. These are the very basics of the Christian faith. Without believing these things you cannot call yourself a true Christian.
The scriptures are there to reveal to you who God is and to act as a history of God's people. Making up your own God in your head is really no God at all but a false God of your own imaginations. That is where you fall into error and apostasy.
What past misdeeds are you referring to?
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
The Bible is the word of man. We already know that. The only made-up God is the one who appears in scripture.
"God made man in His own image...& man has more than reciprocated."
-Voltaire
Just b/c some guy said that God said something, doesn't mean that God actually said it.
Pass it on.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
You'd rather listen to a fallible human philosopher than to the living God as revealed in the scriptures? That makes a lot of sense.
Can this Voltaire and his philosophies save your soul?
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
Hate to break this to you, but, ALL of the men whose writings were allowed into the Bible were fallible, agenda-ridden men, too.
Shhhhh...
Pass it on....
Voltaire? Yes, actually. The truth does save one's soul. Thanks for asking.:)
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
The books of the Bible were written by different people yet they all point in the same direction.
You have the messianic prophecies that prove that the Bible is God's word along with extra biblical proof.
Jewish historian Josephus for example with the historical accounts of the death and resurrection of Christ. Also the historical account of Christ's brother James martyrdom.
Unless you have a reprobate mind there is lots of proof out there.
Man can't save you but, Christ can.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
The Books which were allowed into the Bible all point in the same direction because the only books which were allowed into the Bible were the ones which pointed in the same direction...the one which assured the power of the church over the people.
Ah, 'reprobate', another pseudo-eccliastic classic.
Use as many silly names as you choose.
Doesn't affect me in the least.:)
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
The scriptures were there way before they were compiled into the modern day Bible that we have today.
The point is that you get different men used to write the different books of the Bible and yet they all fit together. No human could ever accomplish that. No human could prophesy future events such as the coming of Christ, the death and resurrection and the rejection of Christ by the Pharisees.
It's not about organized religion. It's about Christ.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
Of course, many writings existed before the Bible compilation, but, only the most orthodox writings were allowed into the Bible by the bishops who compiled it.
No human could forsee a man who preached loving each other & nonjudgement, being rejected by the conservative church & its 'leaders'?
Really?
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
The Bible is translated from the original Hebrew and Greek.
The early church was not the institutionalized organized religion that you see today.
The early Christians met in each others homes. When they were being persecuted they also met in the catacombs.
Christianity is not a religion. It is a living faith in the living Christ. It is not just some man made religion with rituals and ordinances.
Even with the different denominations there are the basic tenets of the faith.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
You mean the Gnostic writings that are proven to be heresies?
Don't believe everything you see on the boob tube.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
"Proven"? Hardly.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
Council of Nicea anyone?
Gnostic writings are heresy plain and simple.
As the Bible states if anyone preach a different gospel which is really no gospel at all let them be condemned.
If you were really reasoning you would know that Gnostic teachings that originated in Egypt are utter nonsense as is New Age.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
Gee, the guys who wrote what was allowed into the Bible said that anyone who teaches differently from what they do is wrong? Get out! You don't say? Surprise, surprise, men trying to protect their own turf.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
And why should heresies be allowed to go unchallenged? They are a threat to the gospel of Christ. This is not a free for all where you can make up whatever you want and call it God's word. That would be utter chaos and confusion. God is not the author of confusion.
Believers are supposed to contend for the faith and expose false teachings.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
To you, everything is a threat. That's called desperate insecurity, which, in this case, explains a lot...about a great many things you're displaying here on this comment board.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
I'm not threatened by the the false gnostic teachings since I know they are heretical in nature.
When one is in Christ there is no insecurity. It is the unsaved who have no solid foundation to stand on. Christ is the rock. There is nothing insecure about that.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
Then you must not be "in Christ(eww, btw lol)", b/c you're displaying some serious insecurity here, going for all the old disparagements whenever you see something you don't like because you're not getting your way.

I'm not self-righteous. It's you New Agers who think that you are Gods and that you have no sin and don't need redemption.
I've been saved by the grace of God which is a free undeserved gift not by works.
Absolutely no one will get to heaven based on their works.
No one can be 100 percent like Christ. It is humanly impossible.
If you think you have no sin then you are fooling yourself.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
Whatever you need to tell yourself.
I really don't care what you or any other self-righteous, callous, condescending, ignorant, rude, pretentious, sanctimonious Bible-thumber thinks.
You & your doctrine are irrelevant to me, in case you haven't quite figured that out.
If you want to spend your life in fear of punishment & desiring an eternal reward at the end of the proverbial stick, have at it.
I was raised behind the pulpit, so I know every one of your tricks. Try someone who doesn't.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
What's really going on here is that it drives you NUTS that people aren't listening to you anymore because they've FINALLY woken up & begun to think for themselves, so, you, like the Islamists, come up w/ all kinds of names, denunciations & accusations against the new guy who's taking away all of your old business. Pathetic.
There's a new/old doctrine in town & your old customers aren't coming back. People are no longer willingly suffering for YOUR VERSION of God just b/c you say to.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
What's really going on here is that you are a mocker of God and the scriptures. Can anyone say apostasy? This is a serious issue and you are the last one that should be throwing any accusations when your eternal salvation is at stake.
You know what, if people don't want to listen to me then I guess I will just get a bigger mansion in heaven since there will be more room for all believers in Christ. Your damnation doesn't personally affect me so you are wrong there.
Cont'd

LIke I said, whenever you don't like what you see or hear or can't handle not being taken at your word, you all go for all of the usual names. It's so tired. it's been done. Really, you're behaviour's no better than the jihadists who do the same thing for the same reasons.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
You are the one who is indulging in name calling because you don't have any objective proof of your beliefs.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
You have no proof of your beliefs.
I can prove that the Bible is the word of man very easily.
Men wrote it.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
Your arrogance amazes me. You cannot prove that the Bible is just the word of man. Using heretical gnostic gospels to do so is irrelevant since they are in error and contradict the entirety of the Bible.
The Bible interprets itself.
The Bible proves itself and doesn't need your help.
Historical accounts and fulfilled prophecies are proof that the Bible is indeed God's Word.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
I'm not arrogant. I just know better. The Bible, like any other of man's writings' doesn't 'do' anything itself.
"Heretical"? LOL Whatever. I've already proven that the Bible, like the Quran, Talmud, Torah, Egyptian & Tibetan Books of The Dead are all the word of man. I don't care what you believe. Funny thing about prophecies. When anyone else does them, they're evil, but, claim to do it in God's name, &, suddenly, it becomes 'holy'.
What nonsense...on both ends.

I don't have any customers so I don't know what you are talking about. I don't think that serving God is a way to become rich.
And believers suffer for the gospel because they know that Christ is real and that they are citizens of heaven and that their eternal life will more than make up for any crap they have to put up with down here.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
That's right, they're looking for a reward. They do whatever they think is necessary in order to get something in return. Typical. it's, actually, pretty Pavlovian, when one thinks about it. Also, they do it in order to have SOMETHING they think will make them, somehow, 'better' than other people, to whom they usually feel inferior. See it all the time. Same mentality as the country clubber...
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
You make a lot of false judgments.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
Ah, yes, the old 'if you DARE disagree w/ me, you must be lin league w/ the devil' accusation...
Again, tired. It's been done. It fails every time & usually comes back to haunt those who make such ridiculous accusations, so, be careful.
Those who always crow about the supposed 'sins' of others usually do so in order to distract attention from their own, though, they're usually discovered anyway.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
Well you know there is only two sides. If you're not on one side then by default you are on the other.
Everyone sins and like I said before anyone who says they are without sin is a liar and the truth is not in them.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
Good for you. I wasn't raised in a church and I never went to church growing up. I haven't found a church yet that didn't vary from the Bible on certain issues so what's your point?
The church doesn't save you Christ does. I learned from the Bible which is God's Word. If you have a problem with that then I am sorry for you.
And you are the one who is doing the name calling and being a jerk.
I have no tricks even though today is Halloween but nice try.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
No, you ust thought that you could spew a few...whatevers, & I'd, somehow, cower before you, like some weak-minded fool. Sorry, but, not going to happen. I know you holier-than-thous aren't big on self-respect(as you can't control the minds of those who have it), but I've still got it.
If you don't like what I'm posting, stop responding.
it's really just that simple.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
I don't need you to cower before me I'm not God but, you should repent before God and turn from your sins.
I think it is weak minded to believe in New Age mumbo jumbo since it really doesn't make any sense. Emptying your mind is the exact opposite of thinking and that is what the New Age promotes among other things that are not sound.
Only God is holy. I've never once said that I was holy. That is your accusation.
No one wants to control you except maybe the New Age gurus.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
It is the Devil that is the liar. You're saying that the truth is a lie and that a lie is the truth?
And yes I said sins. Because anyone that says they are without sin is a liar and the truth is not in them.
You don't understand who you are as a lost sinner in relation to a holy God. That is the first step that leads to repentance.
Christ sets you free. Believers live by grace. I have freedom in Christ. I am not in bondage. However, if you are unsaved then you are in bondage to sin.

Sheep and goats, wheat and tares. This is referring to the saved and unsaved.

I'll say to him as one preacher once said to me, "Bishop, don't stop singing". Be Blessed Bishop LAF Sr.
revealedtruth 3 years ago
inclusion is false theology on the gospel of Christ, it is not Biblicaly sound in any way. its not in the Bible, Christ Himself never preached it at anytime. Pearson had his time as a great bishop, i loved his cds, but he has changed not the gospel. inclusion is of the devil, if not then there would be no need for Christ, if everyone was going to Heaven without being saved. it is an insult to Christ to say such thing, after all he suffered. where is your proof? you have none!
brocliffclgi 3 years ago
That's the whole point. If there is no judgment and eternal punishment then what do we need to be saved from? The gospel of inclusion is no gospel at all. It is a false gospel and the Bible clearly states that anyone preaching a false gospel is condemned.
This is an insult to the sacrifice of Christ on the cross as an atonement for our sins.
People need to read their Bibles and not be so gullible in believing whatever sounds good to their itchy ears.

Church cons HATE CDP's message because it robs them of their control over others through their calloused, sifling dogmas.
Funny thing, though, is that his message is closer to that of Christ's than ANY conservative divisive nonsense.
Jesus was the first to preach inclusion.
Looks like CDP's preaching CHRIST'S Word, whereas, the apostles & conservative churches preach their own.

StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
I was introduced to the "Gospel of Inclusion"
last year, and I gotta be honest with you, it made me look at my belief pattern and made me ask some questions. The more I hear about it, the more it makes sense to me. However, I now feel torn between what I've discovered, and what has been taught, as well as dealing with fellow believers who are bent on believing that Bishop Pearson is wrong.
It's definitely a battle, struggle, all of the above.
brentduanefoster 3 years ago
Your conflict is understandable, as what you've been taught is a part of your roots, &, perhaps, even, your personal sense of identity, &, to change your way of thinking on this issue is, basically, saying that everything you've eve known about these subjects wasn't true.
It's very difficult to leave one's familiar & comfortable zone, but, if CDP's message is one of freedom to you, leaving the former behind is precisely what you'll have to do, even if it means doing it alone...
It's worth it.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
Speaking of what I was taught, for the 14 years that I have been a believer, I have had a difficult time talking about hell.
In a strange way, it didn't make sense, and it made sharing my faith that much more difficult.
Now, as one who I believe God has called to preach his word, I now encounter what Bishop Pearson is teaching.
brentduanefoster 3 years ago
It's wonderful to hear that someone else will be preaching this wonderful message, B!!:) I wish you nothing but the greatest of success in all of your endeavours!
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
Christ preached and warned people about hell. You seemed to have overlooked that.
Christ said he is the only way to the Father(God).
Christ said to take the narrow road because broad is the road to hell.
Where is the scripture where Christ preaches inclusion?
Believing in Christ is exclusive, not inclusive. That's why so many people reject and deny the Christ of the Bible.
TheologicalStudies 3 years ago
frankly, I'm really not in the mood to be bothered by yet someone else feeling threatened by the love brought by CDP's message, but:
Jesus said to "love ALL mankind". That IS inclusion. Jesus said that only God chooses who is to be saved. People don't reject Christ. They reject your view of Him that you've tried to shove down their throats. Now, however, the more they actually read what he taught, they're realizing that what he taught & what you TTSDTT are not the same thing.
StephanAOTTO1 3 years ago
It's always so amazing how so many so-called "Christians" are ALWAYS the first ones to try to judge & tear someone else down, especially when all they're doing is trying to help people. I'll be glad when "christians" begin to treat people the way JC actually taught them to.
"I like your Christ.
I don't like your 'Christians'.
They're nothing like your Christ."
