The point of Bailey's joke is just that there is no actual joke, there's just some lost dude mumbling some pseudointellectual bogus, playing with the concept of stand up show. It's sort of amusing, usually these sort of jokes work better as a part of entire show, where you can just watch the dude fooling around, the actual jokes not being the primary thing.
