No one really knows what happened in her marriage but her and her husband. I've seen women/men for years mistreated or cheated by their husbands/wives for fear of what the church would think. People view these "pastors", and women are NOT supposed to be pastors, but all church ministers are viewed as "gods". Consider for a moment the billions/millions people give to these people. Last year my wife left me for some asshole guy. It makes no sense at all- I’m a CEO and he’s an office admin douchebag content to earn $60k a year!
At the end of the day if she wants to waste her time with filth, that’s up to her, but I don’t want him infecting my kids with his lazy-ass attitude to life. Already I can see them being less ambitious in school. It’s so unfair & I’m so cut up about it I’m now in counselling- I just don’t know what to do about the situation…

I think if issues/problems overtake leaders in the church, they should step down and seek Jesus and ask their Father for direction, wisdom, strength to face whatever it is they are going through. Divorce it is the easy road. I don't believe in divorce. With God's intervention, our patience and endurance, our humility, any issues/problems between a husband and wife can be overcome by God alone. Is anyone ever willing to wait on God anymore, pray over real issues and wait for His answer. No. Sad.

Although we can't judge the heart we must judge fruit and what someone says. Just listen to her! There is just no other way of spinning this - THIS IS VERY BAD. God hates divorce and the only biblcal grounds for divorce are either immorality or physical abuse. I question whether she and her ex are being honest about their claims there was no adultry. Whatever the reasons for their split, they need to stay out of the ministry until they restore their marriage and their walk with God.

Where is the moral failure in getting a divorce? No one really knows what happened in her marriage but her and her husband. I've seen women/men for years mistreated or cheated by their husbands/wives for fear of what the church would think. Perhaps they aren't telling it to keep from inflammatory images. I respect that. Its one thing to not like what she says, but its another thing to criticize her love life which is something we don't know much about.

3 words. OUT OF ORDER. If the man wasn't abusing her or cheating on her then there is no legit reason, based on scripture, that they can be divorced. Remarrying will make them adulterers according to Jesus. Also, when people divorce when they are in positions like that, it effects the ministry. When a man and wife are at odds, God won't even hear their prayers until the come on one accord. That's what scripture says.

Although I've never been married, I know what it is like to be in a relationship that can not be reconciled. Being that she was married for 18 years makes me feel that she must have been married a little too young in the first place. I know that I'm a completely different person than I was 18 years ago, and what I look for in a partner is now very different than what used to be important to me... so I understand. In case of adultery, it is permitted.
However, I'm not aware nor do I want to be aware of the exact details of this woman's divorce.

I see what the radio host was saying he was basically suggesting that she take some time off b/c of her divorce but the truth is that he has no idea what took place in her bed room that led to the divorce. It may have been other circumstances that they could not or would not want to share. And who's fault is that.
