WOW! My pastor would NEVER allow my praise dance group to dance like this. I'm not trying to be mean, but tone it down a little bit. This dance is a bit TOO worldly.
Worldly dances should be left for the unsaved! I think if you ladies would have backed away from the "BEAT" than you could have focused more on the actual 'LYRICS" and who they represent! Study God's word more and actual look up information about the Ministry of Praise Dancing and see how much you'll be enlightened! I am confused, you guys didn't feel bad dancing like that in church? At my church this type of dancing wouldn't be allowed. The dancing your guys are doing,is just like the people out in the club. What happen to holding a standard? The church is not the club. The church is suppose to be a holy place. You guys are great dancer, I just don't see where god is getting the glory.

The song is fast therefore it is only befitting that these girls were to dance fast. God see's their heart. They were not dancing in any provocative manner, they were just upbeat. It's not about a style, it's the condition of the heart, and the knowledge of what God wants us to do. Everything that goes on in the House of God is not OF God and there is a lot ot trash-dance, music and yes, preaching going on that is Strange Fire. if you want to know about Strange Fire, read the Word.
In Logic, if you want to know if a statement is true, take it to the extreme and see if it is stiil true. Saying that "it doesn't matter where we get our dance from" is just like saying it doesn't matter where a preacher gets his message from. so, that would mean that if a preacher got up in the pulpit and preached from the Satanic Verses, as long as he was in God's house, it would be OK, right? Dance is a silent message, the message comes through movement. It does matter..

im not going to say anything mean/rude i just wannna offer advice.....the dance was pretty nice although be mindful of where you are when performing this. You are in the house of God doing moves from songs that are not gospel-like. Just be careful about incorporating moves that show up in the dance clubs into your routine for church.
theres nothing rong with dancing like this in a church. coz im im youth i do things like this not just 2 entertain ppl. but to sbow ppl. that there IS a God in me.we danced 2 this at a bbq and we got unbelievers 2 come and watch us. thru that they started 2 think about joining a church.

I think that this music appeals those who may not like Old School Music. the youth in my church loved this song. Dancing isn't sinful, nor is music sinful....BUT dancing to music that is not Biblical & pleasing to God is sinful. Wearing clothing that causes our brothers to stumble is also sinful. Not only must our intentions be godly when we worship God, but we must also worship in a manner consistent w/the Word & the Holy Spirit.
I wonder why these young women are allowed to dance in these shirts, as their breasts bounce up & down while they do these carnal dances inciting men to lust over them. This is AWFUL.
Romans 12:1 says "DO NOT CONFORM any longer TO THE PATTERN OF THIS WORLD, but BE TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND. THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TEST & APPROVE WHAT GOD'S WILL IS—his good, pleasing & perfect will."
If we conform to the world & fail to study the Word to have our minds renewed...it hinders us from being able to test & approve what God's will is, & we can end up doing things that we think are "holy & acceptable" to him, but are actually unholy & unacceptable.
For example, if I listen to carnal music & watch carnal music videos, it will conform my mind to the pattern of the world & hinder me from knowing God's will. Then I'll get before the ppl during "service" doing dance moves that I saw secular artists doing on BET/MTV & think there's nothing wrong with it (lack of discernment), because that's what my mind is conforming to (the pattern of the world). Even if I stamp Jesus' name on it, it's still of the world & God won't accept it.
This was a good dance..but some of the dancing was too worldly you have to be carefull..but God knoes where this dance routing came from...your hearts so at the end of the day if u truly performed this for and to the glory of God instead of having an excuse to bring certain dance moves into the church..then there is absolutely nothing wrong with it..just be mindfull....and Good Job!!

The hardest thing to do is a song that my have some worldly attributes, but as a christian you have to seperate the two. It is hard for a teeanage to do when at times they may still have some street resdue. I'm on a dance team and I'm struggling now because I don't like to dance to songs such as this. I'm not knocking anyone but how can God get the glory if the world attributes are in it also.

im not going to say anything mean/rude i just wannna offer advice.....the dance was pretty nice although be mindful of where you are when performing this. You are in the house of God doing moves from songs that are not gospel-like. Just be careful about incorporating moves that show up in the dance clubs into your routine for church.

I completely disagree with Faith and Reasons. This song is about the message of giving glory to God and not to men for their success listen to the lyrics. I think that this music appeals those who may not like Old School Music. the youth in my church loved this song. For example, if I listen to carnal music & watch carnal music videos, it will conform my mind to the pattern of the world & hinder me from knowing God's will. Then I'll get before the ppl during "service" doing dance moves that I saw secular artists doing on BET/MTV & think there's nothing wrong with it (lack of discernment), because that's what my mind is conforming to (the pattern of the world). The hardest thing to do is a song that my have some worldly attributes, but as a christian you have to seperate the two. It is hard for a teeanage to do when at times they may still have some street resdue. I'm on a dance team and I'm struggling now because I don't like to dance to songs such as this. I'm not knocking anyone but how can God get the glory if the world attributes are in it also.
