  • Genius, thanks dude

  • Another great plastic welding video Del, I really can't wait to try that out on something!

  • @Rasd4Metta Thanks Rob, its not as common to have to use it in car work, but i have used it on those annoying little plastic plugs that hold the door cards on and snap off every time you remove one..

  • @Moonfleet41 Well I've been looking around for something I can break so I can try it lol

  • brilliant vid very informative got a few repairs on my mid nineties zxr fairing to do the copper wire is a great tip thanks :)

  • @tmiffer56 You're welcome mate. its a simple task, just not commonly attempted in these throw away times, good luck with the ZXR, they are a crackin bike, lets have a video of yer progress aye..! Cheers. Del.

  • Try "JB Weld".. It won't come off again and if it breaks.. it will break elsewhere..

  • Props to you both by the way for all these great videos. Mustn't forget the camera lady!

  • @boredofitall Thanks sal.. i call her my curvy camera crew.... often a destraction, but i have to be professional and think of the script ...brake a leg luvvy...!

  • Plastic smoke...don't breathe this!

RE: for those who don't know...watch the "Will it blend" videos ;)

  • @boredofitall Breathed a lot worse in a lifetime of fiddling in the garage, the worst being Hydrogen Cyanide from burning seat foam.... but hey, im still here, and not affected by it, by it by it by it wibble...!

  • Delboy, the English McGuyver! Well done mate! ;)

  • @steeveomatic Ha ha, bloody hell, thats going back, .....now where did i put that gaffer tape...?

  • thats exactly how i plastic weld at home! nice job Del! At work i have some super glue with plastic powder that i use, you simply place the super glue at the join, then sprinkle powder over it and it "fuses" the join! great stuff.

  • @terroristone Thanks mate, i freind of mine saw this the last time i posted it, and went and repaired half a dozen of his kids toys.... every little helps aye..lol..

  • @terroristone You can use baking soda for that "powder". Or stop at a hobby store and get "micro-balloon filler" which is tiny beads of glass.

  • @boulderdsvo I've been using that on my Venture. But you have to damn near sterilize the plastic now or JB just busts right where it was supposed to fix.
