  • Tires are Toyo mt open country, rims are Gear alloy 951, double pump ????

  • what kind of tires and rims are those

  • no time fro a blow job here lmfaooooo

  • I own a 2008 FJ, dude hats off to you for fording water all the way up over the hood. I don't have the balls for that. Have you noticed any problems at all with the engine?

  • As long as you don't stop in the middle of the water and let the water fill up under the hood and surround the engine, you will have no problems. The engine compartment takes a few seconds to fill once you stop in deep water. So knowing this do as I did, DON'T FRIGGIN STOP in the middle of deep water. As you enter the water your front end actually pushes the water away, like a snow plow with snow. It takes a few quick seconds for the water on the sides to flood in drown the engine compartment.

  • So, keep your time in deep water to a "quickie" AND DON'T STOP! Or get a snorkel!

I prefer to use my jet ski's if I'm gonna spend any more time in the water. Snorkels are not needed there. : jbblevins400, yes I know where the CAI is and also where I ran all my axle, trans and misc.... vents have been relocated to.

  • I did take it into Toyota for a previously scheduled major maintenance after that and there were no signs anywhere of water intrusion, axles or anywhere else.

  • do you know where your air intake is?? or what water will do to your engine?

    real brilliant....

  • DA, air intake, what's that? Engine? I got rodents under the hood powering my cruiser! What are you a frikkin rocket scientist? But thanks for the heads up!

  • I have to say this is the coolest video love the water runs!

  • I had to drop the original tunes that went with this video since I guess someone turned me in for using some great tunes to go with the video. How lame was that! Got an e-mail saying that the music was copyrighted, so I had to pick something from their lame collection.

  • that looks like alot of fun!!! fj's are the perfect off road vehicle. my advice is if you're gonna make a habit of that little stunt, you better invest in a snorkel. otherwise you're looking at a whole lotta heartbreak that warranty is not going to cover.

  • Cool video! Watching you bounce on all the whoopdie doos made me cringe though lol

  • what rims and tires are on that truck? i want to get them for mine

  • moto metal 317, 20" rims with 33" toyo open country

  • thanx i already found that out and they dont work on my truck becausee of the offset so they will stick out too far

  • Is that salt water? You do know what saltwater does to metal and electrical connections right?

  • Freash rain water sheetflow. NO SALT ADDED!

  • watch those pulleys TJ!

  • what happens to the pulleys????

  • The pulleys on your serpentine belt are not fully sealed. Neither is your e-locker or rear differential. You most certainly submerged your e-locker and rear diff breathers in that river run, so you may want to check your differential fluid for contamination. Run some 1/4" fuel line up to engine bay to relocate the diff breather and 5/32" vacuum line to relocate the elocker breather. You'll gain height for safe water fording. Not much can be done about the pulleys though.

  • if you head to the fjcruiserforums dotcom and search for scuba driving you'll find info on relocating the breathers. search for pulleys to find info on cleaning them after driving through deep water or mud. Mud is more of an issue than water.

  • Thanks, I've done the conversion and went back an hour ago, the water has gone down about 2 - 3 feet. Plenty of mud now. I'm "TJ Cruiser" on the fjcruiserforums page. I've got my "Scuba Driver" sticker!

  • Nice Job TJ, take me next time I visit !!!

Phil M. from Ohio ... Todd's other half

  • phil, I knew it was you. there are no other munch's..... Snow'n yet?

  • good job

  • Thanks for sharing the video. ;-)

  • Nice vid, where is that at?

  • Bonita Springs,SW Florida

  • Thats what i call a real FJ CRUISER OWNER

  • Over the hood! Now that's what I'm talkin about!!!
