I saw Warren Ellis often playin" on somehow "small" lookin" guitars, what sort of guitars are this? Especially made for him or what? Anyone here to answer?
Warren sounds fantastic! But I wonder why he"s playin" so somehow "small" guitars, I am not a musician.What "sort" of guitars are these? Especially made for Warren? Anyone knowing
thirty years a leader-just a great great song. Practically a pensioner and one billion times more worthwhile than, say...Kasabian.Knowledge, wisdom and God-given sex appeal...tremendous. Been a Cave fan through the mighty highs and the dreadful lows-always a pleasure, never a bore xx
make me think of birthday party the first band of nick and his bad seeds grinderman play many songs of theirs like "red right hand"and "nick the stripper"
i shit you not right this geezer (cave) lives in my road!!! can anybody tell me some of his best work would really like to know before i invite him round for tea!
I agree. I actually discovered Cave through Let Love In, later got to enjoy many others... but really, the guy made so many good songs.... advice for novice is, just go slowly, no rush, the more it remains to be unrevealed the better :)
Nick can still rock out after all.. he got a bit too melancholy and introspectiive from The Boatmans Call onwards I reckon. Grinderman kick ass though.
Best band on the face of the earth. No question.

@Siste4366
He has his own signature model from Eastwood guitars... (it's not the one on this video though...)

He plays tenor guitars and electric mandolins, in this he's playing a bouzouki.
