I don't know if also in USA it was aired on TV, but in Italy this version was aired (as the japanese one), because it's sung by Max Alto, the italian voice actor of Inuyasha. :)

In Canada, the years 1995-2010 was when our youth channel aired tons of anime. But all the intros were in Japanese.

Massimiliano (Max) Alto!!! Inuyasha's italian voice <33 This song was made by him because he's also a musician, but actually he is great dubber (lord of the rings, 8 mile, twilight etc), in english maybe because in italian was more difficult to adapt!

Wait, the UK used this song or the Japanese one? Because this song, also if it's in english, was sung by Max Alto, the italian voice actor for Inuyasha, for the anime italian version. So first he is a dubber, but is also a good singer.

@usagismile 'cause actually this is the "italian opening", also if it's in english :) The singer, Max Alto, is a dubber (Inuyasha's voice also) ^^

@12manganime it isnt always that way....(they had a dub/sub/whatever the heck it is where its in japanes,but has english words on the bottom, and i've been watching inuyasha on netflix. no song,just music :/ )

@aluckymutt well I guess you could always do tht for these and ones that arent translated, but I think its amazing that the producer spent longer to translate it with the same music, i mean it probably took them longer to make it fit the music.

I quiet like the version of the opening. It gives a different feeling to the original one. Usually dubbed osts are hilariously terrible. Especially some of the Inuyasha ones. Still nothing beats the original verison : )

@heyitsArlo yes :3 I've come to realize how crappy american television is when it comes to dubs. I don't think anyone over here takes anime seriously. I mean jeez, Kick Buttowski and the Power Puff Girls aren't exactly Inuyasha, if you know what I mean, and honestly, if it's possible, they always let 4Kids dub the popular animes, like Pokemon, so over here, it's thought to be a show intended for 3 year olds, and I'm the only one who can say for a fact it's meant for a much older audience. FAIL!!

@MCPMikaMika I am not sure. It was not generally used. I remember seeing it in English on Cartoon Network when it was on a 4:30 spot (no Toonami) but it was short lived before it came on Adult Swim years later. On there they only play the endings (in japanese).
