Solar energy has nothing to do with heat, rather light(photons). Technically because of the snow's white color and hence reflection of the sun's rays, solar power actually works best in snow.
It actually is one of the last nes games! It was released in the final year of the nes age. 1994. only 16 games were released that year and this was one of them.
