Barry Saunders and The Waratahs are the best ever. I coudn't live without them. Keep up the good work. I was introduced to the Waratahs about 11 months ago, by the best man ever in my life. @dixjp51 Well, fuck. You may be right for all I can now find out. Though, when the song hit the airwaves, Bruno Lawrence's popping over played big in the local media. And, with the media being what it is, the two ra de da interests of the day may very well have merged erroneously to become, years later, some overblown and monsterous topic of livid debate upon a certain Youtube channel. I'm sure you're correct in Berin's. JonathanG meekly says Lawrence, in any case, deserves further horrah.
This is awesome mate! Haven't heard this particular Warratahs track in donkey's, and takes me back to Aug '93 when TVNZ chased an excursion train we ran up to Arthurs Pass, (me on board) we had a mighty Ka class steam loco on front (NZ's biggest steamer ever built) and they took a rake of evocative vids including from a chopper as we rolled along.Then they put it on the news to this Warratahs track, was really stirring. Wonder if Ka class loco whistles suck or blow?
@Pullisto Somehow I fear not; Mrs.Hisselthwaite, y'know her from #147, has been flappin' her gums in hot gossip - down an Albuquerque Starbucks no less (god save her if C.Nugent finds out). Anybuggers, seems ole Tis Him has had some troubles of late; knocking in his big end 'n all sorts - obviously hasn't been keeping up with regular servicing on the V-Twin...tsk. GLADIS!!

Or that wee island Mr. T. Heke and feathered friend existed upon...
