  • PORSCHE DOMINATES, AND THE HATERS WATCH !

  • im buying a 86 porsche 944, and its beautiful!

  • Hey, Is it possible to take a 85' Porshe 944 and convert it into a or just make it a turbo like the 951?

  • @TheeJukeBoxHero i know that the 951's cylinder heads have ceramic liners, just makes the turbo respond better with higher temperature. the 951's also use sodium filled valves in the cylinder head for better heat dissipation. it is possible to create a 944 turbo, but converting it to a 951 entirely would be more than buying a 951. the bodies have different features, and motor work is damned expensive.

  • Looks almost exactly like mine, save for the interior and my wheels are black inset 944 wheels.

  • i just picked up a 86 Turbo and i love it. Its got the same red leather interior, (not my first choice for interior color but oh well) silver exterior. Just a fun all around car.

  • nice from outside. but pleeeeease!!: buy a new steering wheel! ;)

  • i had an 86 turbo..........loved that car, wish i still had it.

  • red leather interior= hideous

  • @p00pinabottle do you even own a car? not a hot wheels

  • the body somewat reminds me of my 1g talon for some reason

  • pop up headlights FTW!

  • music sux dude

  • Steering wheel wrap and floor mats blow.

  • I really like the 944 and might get one some day, but that interior is... well... very 80's. Lol.

  • have you sold it yet, if not, how much are you selling it for?

  • @rrrrica347 Porsche 944 dude this is a awesome car and they are very cheap (bought mine for 2000$ and it runs) the is a lot of specialist sites with parts. And you get the joy to say that you fucking own a porsche not a merc

  • OMG THAT IS A GREAT 80S INTERIOR

  • such a sexy car man

  • I love this car wish I could buy one

  • i got a 84, they changed a lot to the 85, interior and extior

  • what did they change on the extior?

  • sorry i worded that wrong i meant interior changed a lot.

  • how did the exterior change from 84-85? Im not trying to insult you I just didnt really notice anything.

  • @MangoSmoothie16 the dash is all rounded and has different gauges, console is different, the seats are pretty much the same though...

  • just bought one and I love it

  • these one of the best driving cars ever what are you talking about?

  • does anyone know how often you should change the timing belt on one of these?

  • somewhere between 30k and 45k. If you wait too long really bad things will happen.

  • EVERY 30 THOUSAND MILES

  • i have a red one with black interior

  • good story.

  • I have another question similar to the previous one, in fact they go together. Even though my temp gauge is a little faulty (it bounces back and forth and will get stuck on the left side - have to tap the dash to get it unstuck) it wants to stay near the yellow after it warms up. When I idle at a light, the meter moves into the yellow until I pick up speed again, then it comes back out of the yellow. Is this danger of overheating or what could it be?

  • check that both cooling fans are working properly. If one or both are faulty or not comming on at all the car will overheat sitting still. Also add a bottle of "water wetter" it will help keep the temp from going up so high.

  • The fans works very well I have to say. I'll try the water wetter - do I put that into the coolant/anti-freeze resevoir?

  • Hey nice car! Looks like it just came off the assembly line. I'm hoping you can answer a question. I have an '85 944 and I'm wondering is it normal/common for these cars to run hot? I can have the vent temp pulled all the way into the cool(blue) and have my air vents closed and yet I can still feel hot air coming through and building up in my driving compartment. Is there something wrong? I have to have the windows down for comfort.

  • I have the same problem with my 300zx and it's a pretty similiar car and I think It is that way for most sports cars.

  • There should be a big foam gasket under the gear shift/selector. If it is missing or has rotted out with age (mine did) it will allow the center console area to get really hot and heat up the cabin area.

  • air comes up/in through a hole in the leather around my shifter but it's not hot. The hot air is coming through the window defroster vent. Something somewhere is broke because I'll close the vent on my console but air still blows in.

  • where do u get the parts to keep it in good condition? my dad has one in gold with brown interior.

  • super clean man

  • Those are phone-dials, not cookie cutters. Not that it matters. It's a nice-looking car.

  • looks to be in good shape. hate those cookie cutters though, i never have liked them.

  • clean

  • i love the bumpers like that its adds shape. i hate the interior's of the 85's and up, i love my 84 though lol

  • that music blows and why didnt u rev it?

  • Take the interior color and exterior color, flip them around, change the automatic trans to manual, and change the model year to 1987 and you've got my car!

  • I thought the S2's had the smooth bumpers? I thought only the S1's had the bumpers like that. Nice car though

  • not really the s1 body actually was the first to carry the s2 engine actually, hard to believe but it is true

  • Sweet. I didnt know that. So the only diff between this style s2 and an s1 was the motor?

  • yup, once the turbo came in the market then the s2 went for the turbo look

  • Sweet dude. Thanks for the info man

  • nice 85/2.

  • Do you still have it?

  • I have the same color 1989 n/a. You seem to have bigger 911/turbo phonedial rims.

  • i dont like the american version with the big rear damper! thee europian version looks better

  • i love the 944 i got mine for 2000 but it had a original motor. we switched it out for a refurbished 944 motor and it runs sweet the refurbished motor cost bout 2-3 grand so these cause are the best handlers and very cheap its the dream car... glad i never sold it
