  • Nice cover. I've always been a big Motown and big Zombies fan. Because of The Zombies' distinctive sound, which really is different from the Motown sound. I would never think they would cover this type of tune, but it's nice to see. Good job guys.

  • Ruffin's original is of course the premiere version. But, this is outstanding. I am a huge Colin fan - and the band does a great job on this. Especially like the strong chorus vocals! The arrangement fits - a sort of soul anthem. I missed the Zombies when they came through Michigan a couple years ago - pity.

  • Check out Joan Osborne. Her version is even better than Ruffin's.

  • No one has sung this song better than Colin! He rules...

  • This is basically a faithful rendition of Colin's version with Dave Stewart (the best version too) rather than sounding like the 60's original.

  • @genericgeorge Well, the vocals to me sounds pretty much just like the original vocals, except of course that a different man is singing them with a different tone. Sounds like a similar vocal arrangement. The only real differences i detect are from the instrumentation (instrumental break, guitar solo in the end, etc). The vocals themselves don't seem very original to me. But don't get me wrong. I love the Zombies.

  • Thank you for posting. It's nice to see this again.
