The Maxima is one of the best cars ever made, anyone who drives one understands. This design is one of the most beautiful things ever created, im just glad something this good looking is prowling the streets. Long Live The Maxima. I have a 96 that still gets 28 hwy Mpg and does 0-60 in seven seconds flat..

By far my favorite car of 2009, but then again I always loved the Maxima for more then a decade, I like the new styling of it, but it seems to me the tail lights kinda look like that of Toyota's entry-level compact...the Yaris sedan, but I don't think thats a bad thing at all. I'm looking foward of buying a Maxima in the future..NISSAN DO YOUR THING!!!!

YEAH. right when i saw the commercial I was like "WTF lexus ES styling cues?" chrome handles and such resembles the ES. I also see some shape similarities to the 5/7 series too.

i love everything about the 2009 nissan maxima and I mean EVERYTHING, but its that CVT thats preety much annoying me.i mean, no gears to change? theres nothing sporty about that!also, how do they expect the maxima to sell when the altima is basically a four-door sports car with the SE trim, engine power is the basically the same in the 0-60 case where the altima does 6.6 and the 09 maxima does 6.5,and the finally the altima offers a six-speed manual.if you ask me, the altima may be the real 4DSC

I don't know if you've driven the newest generation of CVT, but it is much more responsive than just about any automatic tranny on the market. It does also have a manual mode, which is a little gimmicky as the automatic mode is still quicker. If you haven't driven one before now, you really should before you draw conclusions about the CVT. I thought I would hate it too, but I love it in my Altima.

this car will be stunning in public, i assure you its amazing i thin kthis looks better than gt-r nissan 2009. this is wide looking like it, for some reason, but this is so nice, damn! if only it came with a traditional manual transmission 5 or 6 speed. would make it unstoppable, actually, and RWD would make it number 1 beating BMW easily. uhhhh i like what nissan did THIS time, the 2004 through 2008 ... not so much.

rear end looks like an Altima met a Lexus ES350.. weird. and the front is agreeably G37ish with a little GT-R.

but it doesn't seem like they tried anything with the interior.
