@av3nger3 Although, that design has been seen on every Varia we've encountered, even those not worn by Samus, so it may serve a different purpose. Shield generation, probably; it could very well be where some of the technology differentiating the Varia from the standard Power suit is housed.
Also, the Power suit from Prime 1 and Zero mission lacks the characteristic bulged breastplate.

well thoes users are phazon infused and are useing there own engery but the GF used phazon back packs and need time to regerate the phazon inbeween uses
samus has this but he makes it through his own energy, use it whenever u want but it can kill u using it for over 10 secs u will change and the phazon will take control of u like the other bounty hunters

if I had a stupid wii system that would be the first game i'd get but unfortunetlly gamecube wasn't able to satisfy the game. but gamecube plays better than every system i've ever touched, even that PS3 i've never had any glitches the collision dectection was phenomenal icluding the lighting effects and any one who's played metroid prime 2 echoes on the gamecube know's what i'm talking about

The only Prime you cant play with a game cube controller is Corruption because it was designed for the wii, you can play all the others though with the GC controller.

Only reall issue I've had with the wii Trilogy is Spring Balling at times(*cough*final stage of Spider Ball Guardian*cough) seemed really kind of hard to to precisely, but given I seemed to be the only one that's most likely my own fault for being stupid. xD
