I have to say, I find it much more fun (and rewarding) if you fight Omega (at least the final form) with the Z-Saber. The buster just makes it boring for me.
I can see reasoning for that, just that doing so is very very dangerous. It sure brings out the "high risk, high reward" gameplay the Z-Saber brought out.
I've completed megaman zero 2 and 3 with an S rank. It took a lot of time and practice. I played those games many times before completing them with an S rank.
use the burst shot ex skill against the last form, it's very effective if you have it. If you don't believe me watch my video of a flawless victory on all three omegas
To be honest, it started downhill after the "Defend the Neo Arcadia Attack" series of missions. For some reason I missed the mission goal of one of them(think it was the monkey area) and that brought me down to a B.
