  • i live right by this beach i walk my dog on here most weekends

  • The Robin Hood film by Ridley Scott was excellent. I didn't expect too much but it really delivered. Far more original than I thought it was going to be.

Wales is an excellent place to film, although if it was filmed there I have no idea why they couldn't get some real Welsh (and other regional) people in it... the accents were the one flaw in the film.

One moment Welsh, then Irish... then Northern...

  • Medieval Higgens boats? Seriously?

  • @333mojo333 Actually, those boats were originally developed from viking prows and then had gates and ramps on the front. They are historically accurate. I could be watching Saving Private Ryan and say "WW2 hulk ships...really?"

  • Top Stuff. Makes me feel proud of my roots.

  • Just watched the film "Robin Hood", Paul, and had to come back and see the before and after! Great job by both you and Ridley!

  • nice music!! works well

  • and this was the part were me and my mates got chucked ff that part of the beach for surfing, i shouted at some guy .. and then they sent us elsewhere .. cunts.

  • i can see this beach from my house sooo cool

  • Amazing footage you're so lucky you got to see so much, saw the film yesterday and thought it was ace, Russell Crowe played the role perfectly. I thought when I was watching it that the locations must be abroad but low and behold I got home went and Wiki and found it all filmed here. Makes me love the film even more :D

  • nice video! I liked Robin Hood, but did anyone else think it was a prequel before it came out? Check out my review of it when you subscribe!

  • Cool Video!

  • Da iawn a diolch yn fawr

  • Those cows were like, 'wth! ' hahaa!

How exciting to be there with all that filming going on at the time!!

I think you did a great job with your own filming! and what a place to film! *sighs

    Thanks for sharing...

  • wat a bitch i could ave been in dat if i was a boy!!!!!

  • Bardzo realistyczne, cofnąłem się w czasie.

  • The ww2 looking landing craft might be replaced with cgi and to double the amount of horsemen.

  • Great imagery and powerful use of the violin solo. I'm not sure it said Robin Hood to me, but as a mini-film it was still great. Personally I like short films better. AG

  • Did you manage to sneak into a shot somewhere up in the dunes? Great stuff Paul

  • What an interesting day at the beach!

  • great! thanks for posting, Paul!

    greetings from Austria!

  • Gee paul that was really interesting, certainly I was perplexed like so many more, that ww11 landing craft can not be authentic surely historic hollywood liscence being used here surely and since when is Nottingham any where near the sea ?,confused of Spain lol, otherwise damn good filming on your part, when the movie comes out my eyes will be searching the sand dunes looking for your head and video camera. hahaha

  • Fabulous, great music, what amazed me is why there is no horse shit? All those horses on the beach and not a scrap of it in sight, they must employ someone to scurry around and scoop it up

  • Excellent footage. Worthy of a DVD extra. Any chance of filming your work in widescreen? You deserve it.

  • What's with the WWII landing craft with oars?!?!?!

  • Excellent! I was at the Surrey shoot for the raid on a french castle so its nice to see what happened in Wales. Thank you so much.

  • no hobbits or orcs? nice footage!

  • Wow, Paul, this is absolutely spectacular. The panoramic shot at 2:38 is superb....Sir Ridley should use it in his film! However, I hope he edits out the boat motors in his footage. LOL. Great pacing and photography and editing and music, my friend! Straight into my faves!

  • Brilliant, ta for sending it Ben

  • Awsome, my mate was an extra in one of the large landing craft there, nice footage!

  • excellent footage paul, now can you tell me what you have done with the monk haven / soldiers rock video?

  • Fantastic - and superb editing. Thanks for sharing so we all feel we were there (as I wish I could have been...)

  • Excellent as always Paul, but could I suggest the addition of a speech bubble at 1:18 something along the lines of "Come on if you think you're hard enough!...I'll take you all on"!

  • Excellent video there once again, cant beleive how many horses they used to make this film.

  • really excellent footage... and the music is so right.... all adds to the magic of Pembrokeshire :)x

  • great work!! did you see the russell s wife there whit his children? do you know if they are in pembrokshire? bye bye!!

  • Paul...Thanks for sharing and putting up the footage you have. It's great to see our Cornish surf boat lads are keeping up with some sort of training while they are playing at "being film stars"

    :o)

  • Wow Paul, what a great edit.

    Almost like I was there.

    Brilliant!
