  • Bob and Elizabeth Dole made 20 accounts? Must be all that newfound time since Jan 2009

  • Only in America could this happen.

  • Great! You believe in ridiculous fairy-tales from the bronze age!! Congratulations you stupid religious fucktard! Here's your prize! An eternity of happiness, which you won't actually get until you're dead, and which you have real reason to believe in, except the fact that you're an idiot! (oh and the big book of contradictions...)

  • I don't want people with imaginary friends instructing ANYONE of ANYTHING.

  • this fucking twat waffle needs frying damn bitch was working with people to help end divided talks now she is fucking dividing things even more.

  • Having lived in Europe for quite a while, my only reaction is "they're bickering over WHAT!?!?"

  • @skybart

    Welcome to America.

  • Well Said!

  • Your a lying bitch.

  • What a useless bitch. Getting elected on her religious beliefs? Really? Is that the best she can do?

  • Elizabeth Dole is a liar. Then, so is Kay Hagan. All the body politic has done is trade one liar for another.

  • Now we know Hagan is lying. She voted for the healthcare lie that has nothing to do with healthcare at all. She supports her Mohammadan president's lawsuit against fellow Americans in Ariziona who are desperately trying protect their lives and property, and she has no knowledge of Hugo Chavez's training of Muslim jihadists in Venezuela (teaching them Spanish and to look Hispanic). The goal is to send them up through South America to cross our borders. Hagan is a dispicable piece of trash.

  • @ConservativeInk HA! Boy are you stretching with this one. HAHA! Let me just take one of your points...Chavez is taking Venezuelans, teaching them spanish so that they look Hispanic? First off, you're nuts, and second you're a racist. Venezuelans are Castillion not Hispanic.

  • @langleywil You must have been educated in a government school. You need to go back and read what I wrote. Since you obviously have a severe learning/comprehension obstacle, I will not dignify your response by addressing what you have misrepresented...Okay, well, bye.

  • I believe in God.

  • I wouldn't vote for you BECAUSE you believe in god. God is an imaginary friend for adults.

  • Well, I personally do not care whom you worship-but what servitude you will provide to me!

Mame, the one you worship is the one to speak with, about your broken ego/heart!

  • If your faith guides your like ,how can you be PRO_ABORTIONS. kind of ironic isnt it? wake up and smell the roses kay, when your term is up,hopefully youre outta here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Kick-ass ad. Feel the power of ownage.

  • Why does it matter whether she's a Christian or not? Why should that even be brought up in a political debate? What's the relevance?

  • the relevance is that religious people are unable to comprehend the world arround them and seek refuge in a fairy tale. such sad uneducated people should not have any power but should be treated...

  • Kay, you support Obamas' healthcare plan, but will not step up to the plate and accept it in place of your plan right now? I will be working hard to make sure you lose next time around. Lead by example!!! Hold a town hall meeting in wilmington. We'll make sure Curtis wright shows up. You're won't hide from his radio show, will you?

  • The Godless American's are right, there is no God. You delusional toolbags.

  • You go Kay!!! So glad you won and sent Liddy Dole back to Kansas where she belongs!

  • Dole's nail in the coffin.

  • the d in democrat means DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Republicans have been doing this for 25 years effectively. They must be in a total panic as its not working anymore, and is in fact blowing up in their faces.

They dont know any other way. Unfortunately for them most of the country has evolved beyond this sort of garbage.

  • If you believe in God you will believe in anything.

  • do u know tyler?

  • Well your Christianity offends me. Who would you burn or stone to death for your sky daddy?

In Judges 11:34-40 Jephthah torched his daughter as thanks for allowing him to win a battle. That's right people, Yahweh didn't send one of his angel's to stop Jephthah as he did with Abraham. This bronze age religion is repulsive.

    May god be less.

  • Haha, exactly.

Was there a way for both here and Elizabeth Dole to lose that election?

  • I wish. Christians are scary people.

  • I wouldn't go that far, but I think they need to be out of political office.

    What would Thomas Jefferson think?

  • The United States was designed to be impartial to religious belief. It's when Christians bring their bronze age morals into government, we have problems like this.

  • @akinadownhillace Totally false. Just read the old documents; the country was founded around a belief in the God of the Christians.

  • @OhTerr Then you shouldn't have any trouble quoting the 'old documents' as proof of your claim. We both know you can't back it up. The United States isn't Jesus Land.

  • @rdccdr801 Jefferson would say that the country was founded on God's morality and the 2nd Amendment keeps the government out of Church not Church out of government.

  • @OhTerr - I disagree, Jefferson once said that the "priest and despot were always in alliance". Not to say that personal belief wasn't very important to the Framers, but they knew that a secular nation was a more free one.

  • Who would you have wanted to win?

Sorry, but you won't win in North Carolina without being Christian. Not yet, not at the Senate level.

  • If I were rich, I'd run for office knowing that I couldn't even run. Just so I can draw attention as to why I can't be elected because I don't drink the Jesus Kool Aid. It would pretty much show the world that Christians in the United States are really big assholes.

  • Hey Kay hows the change going? Are you having a good time on the multi million dollar your party is having in Virginia? What a joke

  • Kay Hagan followed the liberal Democrat's mantra of playing 'victim' when being criticized. Whine about the GOP 'attack' machine but then have cronies and lackies do your dirty

  • It was a lie and you know it.

  • You tell'em Kay! You make damn sure everyone knows that you are just as delusional as every other religious nut.

  • Not one word about the bigotry.

Well Kay Hagan, I guess some bigotry is OK with you.

You can make it up to us.

God cant forgive you, but we can.

    Speak out against the prejudice.

    Post a video on YouTube.

    Do the right thing.

Ill be waiting over here by the lamp.

  • I'm so proud that we have a new class of Democratic politicians who speak up loudly to respond to typical hate-based Republican smears. Congratulations to you, Senator Hagan, the people of NC saw through Libby Dole's 11th-hour desperation attack and elected you their new junior senator. Keep NC BLUE!!

  • Awesome! Senator Kay Hagan just nailed Liddy Dolt's useless Republican hide to a cross with one of the Ten Commandments, then set it on fire! That deserves applause and rock hands, even from a non-Christian like me!

  • Uhm ... I believe CORRECT response was "Not only am I a Christian, but demonizing atheists is just as offensive as demonizing blacks or gays. My opponent is trying to win using bigotry and hate."

Parallel Universe Dole: "My opponent met with Civil Rights groups. She wants to destroy white power in the United States."

Parallel Universe Hagan: "That's offensive. I'm just as white as you."

    This response was TASTELESS.

  • I'm glad Hagan won but here we go again with the outlook that believing in a god makes you a moral person.

Just because you think a god probably doesn't exist, after a lot of thinking about the matter for years, all of a sudden you become in the eyes of others an immoral person.

  • I wish she was an atheist so she could say "SO? FUCK YOU! I HAVE RIGHTS TOO YOU FUCKING AMERICA-HATER!"

    that would be hilarious.

  • Congrats! I donated money right after I saw Dole's ad and then saw this ad.

  • "Not bearing false witness against fellow Christians."

And with that, Ksy Hagan won the North Carolina Senate seat.

  • "Wait no i hate those atheists too!!! WTFBBQ!"

How bout some, "I didn't do that, but if I did, who gives a shit?"

  • I'm not even Xian, yet felt this response was powerful.

    Low-Class-Republican is redundant

  • one of the greatest ads ever...classy lady...

  • Hagan is classy and dole is a real cow ... what a disgrace ... I bet her husband Bob Dole threw his Viagra away after seeing his wife stoop so low just to win an election.

  • SLAM DUNK!

  • Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour - Dole did, and she lost the election. Good riddance.

  • Congrats Hagan. But why would it be considered so bad to not believe in a god? The discrimination is still there, just more subtle.

  • It wouldn't, but for people of similar faith that is time-tested to bear false witness to their neighbors... well, it's always a horrid thing to do (Christianity has some good guidelines about how to treat each other!)... but that was right up there with committing a crime and telling the cops it was your brother only to let him serve your prison time. Hagan is a lot like Obama. Integrity was enough for both to win. They didn't need to smear and insult like McCain and Dole. Proud to be from GSO

  • CONGRATULATIONS KAY HAGAN!!!

  • Go Kay Hagan! Do not let the right wing extremists question your faith!! I am a PROUD CHRISTIAN and a DEMOCRAT from North Carolina.

  • Dole basically conceded by approving her godless ad. What a dumbass.

  • Congrats!

  • There is no constitutional or state requirement for elected officials to believe in anything but country and state.

  • so is that why you acted like you had been caught in a crack den, rather than just talking to athiests.

surely they are all part of the voteing public wether religious or not.

is america turning into a theocracy,i hope not.

  • Huh, crazy christian Americans.. falling over each other claiming who believes more blindly in their religion and who is more zealot. And they have the audacity to laugh at Muslims, Scientology etc with a straight face.

To me a Saudi mullah and a N.Carolinia good christian are all same.

  • Not a close election again!!! Find out why you should be very concerned at Musicians4Obama, and pass it on!

  • Yes, the bible clearly states that only Republicans are Christians. I think that it is in the Book of False Witness.

If you don't want to have an abortion do not have one. Don't impose your morality on others, live it yourself.

Franklin, Washington, Jefferson...most scholars agree they were Diests not Christians. Deists believe that there is a Creator God, but they don't believe that He has ever granted a revelation to Moses, Jesus, Elijah, Mohammed, etc.

  • elizabeth dole's attack was unacceptable. that kind of conventional republican fear-mongering is intended to instill an irrational belief that hagan is out of sync with her supporters' values.

    go kay go!

  • We are the only country in the industrialized world that still clings to religion and bleeds it into government...it's time to grow up with the rest of the world America. People can believe whatever they want...but a person who doesn't believe in anything should be able to run for public office w/o persecution.

  • We are the only country in the industrialized world that still clings to religion and bleeds it into government...it's time to grow up with the rest of the world America. People can believe whatever they want...but a person who doesn't believe in anything should be able to run for public office w/o persecution.

  • considering america was one of the most secular countrys in the world when formed.

it frightens me that people who hope for the rapture and think global warming is part of that prophecy, are some of the strongest political figures in america,i am not saying you cant belive, just keep that crap out of politics.

  • I don't belief in God along with at least half the rest of Europe and an ever increasing number of Americans, does that make us such terrible people that we can't even run for public office.

  • Too bad it had to come to this - I agree with you striking back at this Kay and hope you win, but all you had to end your ad with was:

"...no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." - US Const. Art. IV Sec. 3

  • Hagan I really hope you win. Dole's ad was tawdry.

  • i dont agree witht he lies that dole made, but i have one major problem. Im an american and i dont believe in god. Am i now some criminal? where does it say that i have to believe in god to be a good citizen? this whole mess just shows how closed minded republicans are, and how dumb they think americans are. We are a much bigger part of society then people think, and we pay our taxes and contribute just as much as anyone else!

  • is this the woman that pandered to the atheist?

  • way to go!!!!!!!!

    Kay hagan nov 05

  • I would vote for Hagan because Dole is obviously a representative for the most ignorant and divisive mind-set among us.

However, I can't believe that both of these women seem to equate being an atheist with being a terrorist or worse.

It's really sad that in order to get elected in the US you have to say you believe in a celestial dictator. How can you be an agent of democracy if you worship an ultimate ruler who can convict you of thought crime?

Grow up America. God IS imaginary!

  • kay seems like a real nice lady. hope she wins. there are two kinds of people in the world. those who carry their cross, and those who throw rocks. mccain, and dole are rock throwers. i still don't know what mccain is running on. running on empty i suppose. being an incompetent pilot who gets shot down then captured and tortured by the enemy for 5 years doesn't strike me as prerequisite proof of outstanding leadership. nor does spending 25 years promoting policies that create an economic crisis.

  • I wish Kay Hagan the best and honestly hopes she wins, but THERE IS NOT TEST OF RELIGIOUS FAITH FOR POLITICAL OFFICE! The point should be moot if she is Christian or not. Please, PLEASE read the constitution if you don't believe me. (sorry for yelling, but I'm getting pretty frustrated these days...)

  • "Hey! I believe in a magical sky-daddy!"

  • dole is a whore

  • You go Kay! Beat that revolting woman so she has to spend her days and nights at home crumpled beneath her old man's 4-hour erection.

  • I love your monicker. He doesn't have Alzheimers but he is starting to clog up, seriously.

  • HARSH! But then again, I know Republicans who have turned coat after seeing the Dole ad. It was an incredibly bone headed move.

  • the fact of the matter is DOLE lied about HAGAN...no matter what religion she is...DOLE LIED

  • Bravo Kay Hagen! A classy response.

  • Elizabeth Dole is as mean as she is old. Her brain, much like her husbands arm, have stopped working long ago.

    Republican lies no longer work.

  • wow.. she is pissed because someone says she does not believe in a talking snake and magic.. but she sure told us... that is has blind faith like everyone else

  • True there are a few people in elected office that aren't judeo-christians but why is religion or lack there of even an issue? Personal beliefs should be just that personal. An elected official is supposed to represent all their constituents not just the few or even the many that share their same beliefs.

  • Go Kay! .

  • Way to go Kay! You said it well and you said it with class.

  • Good for you Kay Hagan - just answer the charges and don't resort to mudslinging in return. That's fantastic.

I'm an agnostic, and I'd be shocked if someone faked my voice making one claim or another on tv.

  • It's a shame that this kind of crap even matters to people when electing officials of government. I don't care if you worship the flying spaghetti monster, what is your position on issues that actually matter?

  • Why do you have to be Christian to win an election?

  • Because most of the people voting are Christians..duh!

    It's called real life.

  • Excellent--too bad Obama hasn't run ads like this and cut Sarah Palin's attacks off at the knees.

I've had more "Obama is the anti-christ", "a muslim", "a socialist" conversations than I care to count while canvassing.

  • @lljb99: The reason an ad like this wouldn't work for Obama is that neither McCain nor Palin have *publicly* questioned his Christianity themselves. It's all been done with inuendo and through anonymous supporters. A Kay Hagan-type response from Obama would likely backfire with many voters.

  • This could mean a bounce for Obama in NC for next Tuesday.

  • Elizabeth Dole spent 13 days in NC this last year. I can't believe the people of NC would even entertain the possibility of reelecting that absentee senator for another term.

  • Elizabeth Dole must have been taking lessons from John McCain on how to make sleazy, misleading campaign ads.

  • I don't know what kind of school you went to, but at mine no Christians were harassed by any administrator, a teacher straight up told us she thought evolution was shite in the eyes of God, and we were forbidden to form a GSA because the county board thought it endorsed deviant sexuality. So, uh, yeah, no persecution of Christians there.

  • ooooo...that's gotta hurt

still, get the church--any church, not just the "true" church, whichever one that is--out of politics. repeat after me: "separation of church and state"

  • "I taught Sunday School!". Translation: I lied to children.

  • Absolutely!

  • The Republicans are lower than SNAKES BALLS. There isn't anything that won't say or do to win. The Republicans have become a joke. Look at how narrow (read WASPY) the base is. Go Kay!!! By the way Libby Dole has spent NO TIME in N.C. Why is she representing them?

  • Wow, Hagan has almost an exact election race as OB... going up against an older candidate who tries to defame her character with lies and vulgar deceit. If I lived in NC (now in CA) I'd vote for her in a heartbeat.

  • kay hagan is just a wondeful woman. I see a BRIGHT future for her

  • I, too, wish I lived in NC so I could vote for Hagan. It's time to finally get religion entirely out of politics and make these horrendous, blatantly bigoted attacks a thing of the past. May future generations look back at Mrs. Dole's ad and stare in disbelief, like we look at the Salem witch trials, the violence committed against civil rights activists in the 60's and hateful propositions that seek to write discrimination into a state's Constitution.

  • I thought the US had (past tense) a separation of state and religion. Yet it is mandatory for every politician to at least profess a faith and except in very few cases that had better be Christian too. No one should care what 'tooth fairy' anyone believes in. Being an atheist is not a belief it's just rational, grown-up thinking. Time the US got back to what the founders said keep religion out of politics to para-phrase, wise men all.

  • As an atheist, I applaud Hagan for standing up for her beliefs. I only wish I lived in NC so I could cast a vote for her.

  • Asheville woot!

  • Damn. Good add. Finally a Dem is standing up for herself & not letting the GOP get away with it's usual bullshit & slander.

  • Another atheist weighing in...

Dole knows that NC voters will never back an atheist. Although that fact is shameful in and of itself, KH certainly has the right to set the record straight about who she is and what she believes. Yes, it is lamentable that we have an unacknowledged religious test in this country for anyone running for public office, but this ad is not about celebrating that test. It is about fighting back against slimy Republican campaign tactics, and that's okay by me.

  • YOU GO KAY HAGAN!

Hope to see you on the hill!

  • I think its a shame that politicians only know slander and never speak truth, but I could give a DAMN about anyone's fear based religion.

  • Dole is disgusting and un-American.

Our forefathers said it best ...

"Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise, every expanded prospect."

-James Madison, letter to William Bradford, April 1, 1774

  • What Dole did was offensive, but not for the reason you seem to think. It's bad because she obviously hates atheists.

  • I'm glad I voted for you last week! Best of luck to you on Tuesday!

  • USPatriot4life, I'm all for McCain but your message is misplaced on Kay's commercial. Dole should be ashamed of her Godless advert.

  • Sam Harris for *everything!

  • I'd vote for any atheist over some god-creature any day of the week. Is she running for office or pope? A lot less Jebus and a lot more reality please! She looks as miserable as Dole does. Maybe it's the "faith"?

  • oh snap!

  • TAKE IT TO CHURCH, SISTER. LOL

this is why i cannot stand RELIGION. it has come to this, they are now fighting about who is MORE chritian and who is less.

what has that got to do with the economy?

    anyways, DOLE MUST GO!!!!!!!!!!

  • Kay Hagan nailed Liddy's foot to the floor with that. Come election day, Liddy can go on back to Kansas.

  • Dole's ad was disgusting, it amazes me the lengths to which these Republicans have been going to win their races. However, I don't particularly like this response either. This is politics and there is no way it should focus so much on God. I don't care whether she's atheistic or if she's taught Sunday School her whole life.

  • Ouch? The false witness part was pretty awesome. Way to turn someone's faith completely against them.

  • Um ... snap!

  • DAMMMMMMMN! That Dole bitch got served.

  • Perhaps she had to do this, but it's sad that our politics is STILL at this level of childishness. Dole is to blame.

  • I hated Dole's disgusting ad and I hate this one as well. God, god, god... Believe whatever you want but keep it for yourself. What about the issues? Fucking pathetic.

  • If you know North Carolina, you would know this could very well be "the issues" for the people living there. She has to respond to the bullshit that was said about her in Dole's ad. IF she does not she would be toast in NC. By the way I am an Atheist.

  • "...my campaign is about creating jobs and fixing our economy, NOT bearing false witness against fellow Christians."

    Oh, SNAP!

  • ...two snaps in a cirle.

You'll be back in Kansas soon enough, Liddy! No ruby slippers required! Go Kay!!!!

  • I hope kay wins! dirty politics deserves to lose.

  • Why on earth is a belief in God in politics important? It shows that you're gullible and not concerned with scientific truth. Doesn't strike me as a good quality.

  • Science doesn't have anything to say about whether God exists or not - that question is beyond its scope. Now if you're talking about rejecting observed facts in favor of belief, I'd agree with you, but believing in God is not the same as beleiving in a strict literal interpretation of the Bible.

  • You're right but often the two goes hand in hand. I'm just curious as to why it's important to profess a belief in the supernatural to do well in politics in the USA. If someone made a video like that in Norway I think their political career would pretty much be over.

  • I am christian an neither gullible or a disbeliever in science and absolute truth. Why do agnostics (or perhaps just devil's advocates) assume all christians are ignorant and led by blind faith?

If you hate baseball, and someone makes a claim that you love baseball, wouldn't you react by saying "actually no, I hate baseball", rather than trying to justify why someone else loves baseball?

    Oh and... I hate baseball.

  • respectfully... it might be time for your meds.

  • Why the hell do people think the Democrats have "driven God out of the schools" and that they have "taken prayer out of schools"? What a load of bullshit. Prayer is there as much as it ever was. Everyone who wants to can pray in schools as much as they god damn well please. If you want to get permission to leave class to have a prayer meeting, you can. If your teacher wants to pray, he/she can. You just don't have to. I fail to see how that's taking away anyone's right to anything at all.

  • I do love Doles' hypocracy..

Wow I see the abortion people have landed. Regarding abortion nothing is cut and dried. Demanding 100% orthodoxy puts some christians in the same camp with the fundimentalist muslims. Both have no interest in debate or understanding anyone elses views.

  • changing a groups name, like democRATS or reTHUGlicans is a maturity issue. You are not changing anyones minds if that was your rational. You might as well yell against a wall.

Concentration camps? anti-god? Most agree reducing abortion is a worthwhile goal, but sorry removing the option is not a majority opinion. You will have to sway people to your side. Yelling that the are "Deathocrats" doesnt do it. The fact our country is in trouble also means voing on a single issue is foolish.

  • Bizzare Ad.

I like the part about directly confronting the lie, but to go on and say it's wrong because Dole is bearing false witness against a fellow Christian is weird. Is it OK to bear false witness against non-Christians?

  • She is speaking to those who would be most affected by the ad, and reminding them of a theological point from the bible. It is purely selsctive targeting, not a secular slam.

  • I quit going to church when fellow "Christians" referred to the deaths of Iraqi children as collateral damage. Hippocrates! God's greatest commandment is love thy neighbor, and He doesn't mean the person next door who is just like you.

  • Nice to hear. This must mean that Kay Hagan is pro-life then.

  • "You cannot be a Christian and be pro-abortion"? What an idiot you are.

  • ...or be in the banking business?

...or believe in saints? not believe in saints?

...or be a pacifist? be for divorce? be for women equality?

  • I look at Elizabeth Dole and I can't help but wonder why the hell Bob Dole would want Viagra in the first place. I'd take a pill so I wouldn't have to fuck her.

  • How "Christian" of you.

  • count me among those who find it despicable not only that dole, as a christian, would lie about hagan, but that hagan, as a christian, would tacitly agree that to be called an atheist is beyond the pale. at the end of the day, i have no use for either candidate's approach/attitude on this subject. sure, hagan didn't ask for or deserve being lied about, but at least she could have taken the moral high ground in her response by repudiating the insinuation that atheists are bad people.

  • That last line is the money in a NC race. Make sure EVERYONE knows that Kay Hagan is an ex-Sunday school teacher and that Dole "bears false witness" against her fellow Christians!

  • wow. I only voted for you because you tipped us 6 dollars at the city bakery.

  • Obama and Biden spent more time in NC campaigning than Dole has spent here since she was elected. She doesn't live here, she lives in Kansas. Visits just before election time.

  • Snip-snap!

Jesus H. Christ that was a great ad!

  • Great response to a disgusting and atrocious ad. I don't think Hagan could have said it any better. You go Girl! I hope she wins on Tuesday.

  • The Dole ad was disgusting...but I agree with lpodol. It would be better if Hagan had said "I'm not an atheist, but there's nothing wrong with being one." The only thing that troubled me more about Dole's ad than the fact that it was full of lies and hatemongering - and openly lied about Hagan - is that it encourages people to distrust, fear, and shun atheists and humanism. Which is equally not good.

But anyway. I hope people see the truth about what kind of levels Dole will stoop to.

  • I agree, but the Dems have been backpeddling hard from any semblance of secularism this campaign season. (e.g. the Convention, Obama's support on faith-based initiatives, his participation in the Saddleback Debate, had and Biden's duplicitous opinion on same-sex marriage) It seems to be the year for everyone to piss on atheists... even our "allies."

  • @siefertma: the Dems haven't been backpeddling from secularism at all. I'm an atheist, but I strongly approve of the way they've approached the religion issue. I think that it can only be constructive for there to be strong dialogue between people of different faiths or no faith at all.

  • i sure do hope that Kay wins, it would be a win against those neo-con bullies. let's keep religion out of politics.

  • The Dole ad was disgusting. What a desperate low life Elizabeth Dole is.

  • I don't know why I hoped this ad would say, "Even though I am indeed a Christian, it shouldn't matter whether I am or not as my right to engage in any religious belief I choose is protected by the Constitution of the United States of America; in fact, our country was populated and founded by people seeking this same right." Hagan's vehement denial that she is anything but Christian is just the same as McCain's "He isn't Arab; he's a family man" statement to me.

  • She should have said this "I'm Kay Hagan and I believe in the right of all Americans to choose their religion or lack thereof. I choose to Christianity, and have a long history in the church. For Elizabeth Dole to imply otherwise is demeaning to my personal faith, and to my belief in the freedom of all Americans to choose their relitgion.
