Oh I absolutely love disneyland! I loved going as a child and now I love going with my own children! It has soo many fun memories. But the one that will always last in my heart is when I went with my dad when I was 9. Cause that was the last time I saw him.
Thanks for sharing...we were not able to make it since it is too far from the Bay Area, however, we did attend the Disney Family Museum at the Presideo in San Francisco for the 55 Celebration.

How neat to see everything from opening on. Love the guys at the entrance gate. The employees seemed to enjoy greeting the guests while wearing a Mickey hand as much as the guests enjoyed it. Great looking and sounding video.
@oAPXo Actually, you can see them. I've seen them a few times, but it's usually at closing time as you are leaving to the gates. They stand there and wave goodbye. Very cute. But this video is the absolute BEST I have seen so far of the 55th.
@starleet2001 Well, I haven't been to DL in 3-4 years, we mainly left before the fireworks due to my niece and nephew being around... 4-6, so yeah. I might have to make a trip and stay there untill the real closing time. :D
Disneyland is one of those special places that can make you cry and feel the magic even through video. Not one place on this earth can give you the same feeling that Disney can when you walk through the gates. it is truly undescribable! Thank you walt disney. happy 55 years disneyland!

My granddad met Walt Disney in Killarney before he died and they had drinks together in Killarney!
