Enthusia is better graphics than GT,and i'm a fan of GT.I love racing on the marda place at nighttime when it's raining, because you actually get the water affects on the camera.
@zzjoerdo ?? is it a joke? This is the best sound I've ever heard, the 787B sound is awesome!! Listen a real 787b on board lap on youtube and in the game this is the same.
No assists huh? I'd love to see someone hit full throttle on corners exits that early in a real 787B...it'd be tyre smoke, backwards through the armco and tears before bedtime.
I have to disagree. I've played PC sims (for example, rFactor) and feel that the physics in Enthusia is certainly up to their standards. The cars definitely move right. The FFB is very light, which a lot of people complain about, but you get used to it in the same way as a real car with power steering.
Nurburgring is certainly not bumpy enough in Enthusia which makes running fast laps much easier, but that has nothing to do with the physics. rFactor's Nurburgring might be better at reproducing the road surface but parts of the track are so far off on some of the corner shapes; though no-one seems to care.
Check my NSX-R lap. My average speed, on a near enough to perfect run, was just 5.5km/h faster than Gan-San's time in the real car. You can pretty much put all that down to arm-chair bravery and that i'm using a sequential gearbox with no clutch.
actually, i never said anything about rFactor... i also don't like it, it's also too far away from the reality. no simulation could reach GT Legends, because it actually "feels" so real with a logitech g25. and even after more than 1200 laps on the nordschleife it's still difficult; honestly, i'm still spinning with some cars sometimes when i'm drifting, and this is just unique...
I simply gave rFactor as one example of a PC sim that i have played.
I wouldn't use GT Legends as the 'feels real' example because it still uses predefined FFB outputs. The real-feel plugin for rFactor actually uses the current calculated forces to determine FFB. That means that you actually feel the true forces at the front tyres. GT Legends is great and rFactor isn't perfect either but GT Legends has had it's day. ;)
BUT...Gan-San did it in real life...lol..this is a video..that is crazy of you to run that time...but like i said..it is much different in real life...more bumps, g-force, much more
Dude play the game before saying shit. GT3/4 are boring games with shitty sounds and crappy physics while Enthusia is an excellent simulation (for a console).
Dude you are good. I got so excited when I saw this because I thought it was a real 787 video, ha. I've never heard of Enthusia but I've always been a huge gran turismo guy, and the 787B is definitely my favorite car. Nice lap!!
The gameplay in Enthusia is certainly not great (this is why, since unlocking all cars, all i have done is time trial racing), but based purely on physics Enthusia leaves GT4 far behind. As for future GT games we can only wait and see.
Best PS2 driving simulater ever.

Out of console racers, I think Enthusia probably had the most realistic physics engine. It was let down nearly everywhere else sadly.

Very bad engine sound. Very amateuristic engine noise

So GT4 sounds are (worst even and still in GT5).
Have you ever heard a 787B, Enthusia sounds are close to it.
Not to mention how GT is owned by Enthusia on the physics segment (if GT ever had what we can call physics lol).

dammit I thought this was a real video of the 787B...

this is just the ultimate proof that enthusia isn't a simulation at all... not much more realistic than gt4 or forza or such a crappy arcade-game

agreed.
The dynamics in this game are certainly not better than GT3/4. The car sounds like a fucking fan too, even for a rotary..

blablabla, don't compare console sim with pc sims!
and your GTL is not so realistic, go play some GPL!
