Hmm...not sure what I think of this video. Supposed to be written from the view of George Lucas...but it wasn't actually and makes me question the writer's feelings towards EU and EU costuming. Lot of uncredited images there of fans that I recognize...wonder what they think of their image being used for this?
@BigJonOnline We love costuming (though we are nowhere near 501st standard) and costumers. We hope the people pictured in this are honored to be seen. They worked hard on their outfits and deserve to be seen at every opportunity. (Sorry for the uncredited thing, but NO ONE gets any credits.) The only things we make fun of is a costume made for fun: pink Klingon and the BAD Halloween Fett suit.
Hi, we're the Jawas that made the video. The quality of the singing is meant to reflect the quality of the message, in a word: bad. We are trying to lighten up a dark subject. It is a shame that GL and KT seem to have parted on bad terms. It is a shame that GL doesn't pay more attention to the EU. It is a shame that he doesn't share more of the story telling with other (sometimes better) story tellers.
We're sure that we can all agree that we wish the situation was better. We hope that we can also agree that if GL were to write a song about it, this is what it would look like. But, please keep in mind, the Jawas' true feelings on the subject are summed-up at the end: "I hate this *utinni* song."
It's something really personal, because it involves characters some likes most and others doesn't. As I'm one of the "likes" team, I didn't like the parody, although I admit that it's really well done. If you don't like EU, leave us who like it alone... We have the right to be upset even knowing nothing is gonna change. It's like an album from a band or singer. You don't need to like EVERY SONG of it.

haha, brilliant! I will admit, I'm a fan of the Commando Novels, but EU is EU and GL gets the final say. I for one would be totally for a Jawa panel at CV :)
He is trying to give the people what they want. Untill the end of Return of the Jedi he had no idea how popular the character of Boba had become. He even stated that he wouldn't have killed him of so soon into the movie. That is why he created the back story that he did making Boba an unaltered clone. What dose this mean for the rest of the E.U? Don't know but I can't wait to find out. I am here to enjoy the ride not worry so much for the destination. May the force be with you.

Nevertheless, Georgie is never getting his way back fully simply because he chose to make Jango, making a minor character relevant (Boba) more important, so it's his fault, and he cannot deny it!
