I saw one in a zoo once, but only once because I'm Canadian and binturongs can't survive here. I don't like seeing them caged up, though. They should be wild... and we should stop destroying their territory! They're endangered and I don't want to see my faveourite animal extinct.

They're just too awesome! We have to save them!

I was watching a kids' show about those today. They say they smell like popcorn. Sounds like a cool pet to me, one that actually smells good. And supposedly they're pretty easy going, as that one seems to be.

I had a bearcat for a pet. He liked playing with a football. They're nocturnal...eat lots of fruit & monkey chow. :D ***** & favd

Its a civet, not a cat or a bear. No one knows why the people called it that because those people died out and their languadge is unknown.

I pet a baby once and it hissed and me and showed it's teeth because I disturbed it's nap but didn't try to bite. I was careful to avoid that anyway. It wasn't a wild one though. That's cool.

sweet little beasts. natives keep them as pets. would be up there with cats & dogs if they didn't leave scent and had better toilet habits. probably just wanted a bite of fruit and its fur petted!
