Am I missing something? Why is everyone talking about shoe ergonomics when we're looking at an incredible piece of creative advertising, something very rare these days.
im a goalkeeper from England southampton and own a pair of Nomis Black pearl, they are a lovely boot both to look at and to play in. I have had Pedators total 90s and puma v konstrukts but the Nomis boots hold there own very well. They are a good boot (=

What people need to understand is that premiership (and other top level league) players where boots that are specially designed for them with special materials, not the ones that you buy from the shops, also the likes of niike and adidas will pay their players a bomb to where there shoes so people shouldn't buy boots because a prem footballer wheres them they should buy them if they are a good boot made from quality materials and that fit well ie are comfortable, thats where Nomis come in.
Nomis brand boots/cleats are probably the best to own. The Nike T90 Lasers and F50.6 and F50.7s dont even compare to Nomis cleats. From comfort to stability and balance when playing.. I bought the Nomis cleats shown at the end, in Black and Red.. they were amazing, and never really had a blister since.
Nomis is now having a sale, cleats that are 300AUD are now only 100AUD... Quite the deal.
Nomis are concentrating their marketing strategy in western europe this year, in the hope that they can be as successful as they have been in Australia over the past 3 years. Simon Skirrow is the brainchild of this technology and was closely involved in the production of the Adidas predator football boot in the late nineties with Graig Johnston (ex Australia and Liverpool forward). I would wager a bet that NOMIS will continue to grow as a company when player and sporting teams sponsor them.
...But as Rooney has discovered, to the chagrin of Nike and certainly his manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, the latest, greatest, prettiest shoes (or boots as the Brits call them) may not be the safest. Rooney has sustained a series of metatarsal injuries, actually fractures, that have forced him to miss some pivotal games, including England's final Euro 2008 qualifier against Russia. He sustained a similar injury on the eve of the 2006 World Cup, but rushed back into action.
All it took was Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo lacing up a new pair of shoes, the Nike Mercurial Vapor IV (in "orange peel" according to Nike's marketing lingo) for hundreds, perhaps thousands of his acolytes to rush to the nearest soccer store (or Web site) and plunk down $210.

I can understand the Gondry comparison, but i think it's very lazy- because really, Woof wan-bau has his own little world going! Plus this is a commercial. You should check out his music videos and short films.
So catchy, and my new favourite- it's like "I'm too Sexy" but for footwear! The visuals are just brilliant, everybody should peruse this director's website, you can just google Woof Wan-Bau and it comes up.
Interseting Nomis, you left it till about 3 seconds left in a 2 minute video to mention your product. Hmmm? I reckon you should just sell them as a top quality boot but for dramatically less than your opposition, nike are selling theirs for 300 bucks in aus if you sold yours for 200 youd sell more. youd be in the same bracket as adipures and legends which offer the same as your boots. Ill wear your boots to get them out there, just send them to me for free.lol.
A little too close to the truth..... a very intriguing ad that has different meanings to consumers as it will to all the football boot designers from the other brands.

which would explain why Kewell wears them, and why FourFourTwo Australia was plugging this ad in their email newsletter.
I do like "And the blister connected to the ouch!"

I agree with wowder1, I myself think this is quite GondryISH. BUT Woof is a great and original mind in his own right.
vivier, check out the Four-Tet and Mogwai vids he did. Or search for 'From Nose to Mouth'
Personally I think he is unique

Nice video, but the director should stop copying Michel Gondry's universe and create his own. What a lack of inspiration

Vivier are you serious? This is by Woof wan-bau, who is an artist in his own right.

Nomis has a pop up store open in Berlin at the moment; they also describe how to get the proper fit on their website.
At least you didnt break a metatarsal, mate.
Those Nikes are sinfully ugly as well.
