You are exactly right. Holland had the best bands ever in the sixties. I am from Belgium and still have the 45rpm from back then. Another great band was Chicken shack...Kleptomania, Doctor Downtrip...

Speedy lead guitar- very upbeat-- nice- Maybe Blue Cheer influence in there too- Flute's a nice touch-- Guess Brainbox- Jethro Tull- maybe Xhol Caravan too- were among a few heavy-prog etc bands using blues flute-

Dat zou mooi zijn, maar vergeet het maar. Kaz heeft gezondheidsproblemen en Jan Akkerman wil al vele jaren niet. Waar André Reijnen is gebleven is onbekend, dus er gaat mogelijk een band van start met Pierre v.d Linden en de opvolgers van Jan. De stem van Kaz is onmisbaar.Jammer, jammer.

I disagree, it just depends on your taste of music. There's still a lot of creative, original music these days and if you search, you'll find... But true, the 60's where great, and Brainbox one of the best Dutch bands of that time!
