  • Who needs cops.

  • Hilarious!

  • @haditeman Lmfao so true and I'm a nurse

  • this is funny because this is true, there are nurses out there that are good nurses, but i encounter exchanges like this more often than not

  • haha so true, only the nurse is philipino and u cant understand her

  • @haditeman Hey I'm Filipino. Racist

  • i used to work in the micro lab and we never pick up samples, ever. the nusres had to walk a shit sample down and complain they could never examine the shit , so i asked it they were the nurse that scrapped it out of the ass or just the shit walker that brings it to the lab. i could make videos all day. they all dropped off nasty sample at lunch time on the way to eat without washing LOL

  • t. Believe me I see it every day. It's frustrating and often downright scary to see how fucking *stupid* some of these people are.

  • I've met really stupid nurses and really stupid emts and firefighters alike but it doesn't do any good to label all nurses or all emts or all firefighters as dumbasses. These are like any other field: you have some who are knowledgeable and really good at what they do, taking their job seriously as opposed to those who somehow passed the minimum requirements and ended up with the title to hold that particular position but really shouldn't be allowed to take care of anything other than a chia pe

  • Hmm, why is it that I think that the 87 people who don't like this are nursing home nurses?

  • Go stand in your booth and ignore the rest of your patients. No truer words said!

  • do nurse's have REAL medical training that is most likely higher then a paramedic/firefighters? yes. Are firefighters just as much if not MORE hero's then nurse's? hell yes.

  • @XX847 Actually, paramedics spend just as long getting REAL medical training and upon exiting school have MORE practical experience than an RN (btw there are different training levels who all like to call themselves "nurses", RN's, LPN's, and sometimes even CNA's will try to pass themselves off as "nurses".) RN's are the only that have similar and equivalent training to a paramedic. Only difference is they take a course or two extra on long-term patient care. Just a FYI.

  • @ianhogan220 hope you didn't take any offense broski, i was trying to stick up for firemen here. unless it differs EMT school and then a 9 month paramedic program, and the different levels of certification on firefighter. and the actual RN, (none of you knock of nurses) is a 4 year degree, now yes what of those classes are actually medic? maybe like halve? i plan to be a firefighter and i HATE it when people say, "let the nurses do the medical work while you kick in their door." piss's me off

  • I just got another complaint on me today. Great.. All I did was try to ask a question.

  • not all nurses r like this. i love being a nurse at a nursing home. all my patients r my 1st concern. i have met my fair share of ems crews that r asses and know nothing.

  • "RACIST SUPERHERO" is the funniest xtranormal video on YouTube!!

  • This is exactly how nurses are. They complain about how hard their life is, but I have passed with an easy A almost a hundred percent.

  • watch my vid it about a guy on the maury show its from xtranormal and its mad funny lmao subscribe

  • Spartygirl-- it's o2 sat not stat. Sat as in saturation.

  • lol was funny:). and too the people that take shit so serious. (you know who you are O.o) . it call a JOKE!. if you dont like these vs videos or cant take a JOKE!, then dont watch it.

  • OH MY GAWD!!!!!! i love it!

  • OK this is my point ...... this is more about insulting women than anything else. You have no idea who I am, how compitent I am or anything about me ..... yet you can use such horrible verbage. You are the one taking such lame interest in a cartoon. What is your problem junior??

  • If you tend to get defensive about your competence, I recommend that you learn to spell more compEtently. Go Spartens!

  • im a vol ff and a emt i also vol at a nursing home and i think this video is dead on

  • This is so insulting. I have NEVER handed off a patient like this nor have I ever handed off a patient like this. I have heard that EMS didnt have any respect for nurses but this is horrible. I look at EMS TECHS in a very new light

  • @spartygirl4msu its a joke you moron

  • @cygnusx555

With every joke there is supposed to be a bit of truth or it isnt funny, you idiot. Maybe someone needs to get an O2 stat on you ........ ey funny boy? Maybe you dont have any ox to the brain.

  • @spartygirl4msu Stupid bitch......It sucks that your a puppet and you cannot intubate. I bet this cartoon shows some truth in your lame life that you take offense to a cartoon. Why are you so sensitive you fat btch?

  • @spartygirl4msu We usually get along great with ED techs. And I'm sorry if you're offended, but let me assure you I've run this exact call at least 100 times. They never know the patient's history, medications, allergies, or anything else about them. That's why they get all defensive when you ask for a report. With a nursing home call it's either: complaining about the same stroke effects they've had for 10 years, or they've had a broken femur for a week.

  • @Tanfeliz Then this is really sad ......... I can assure you this has not happened in any place I have worked.

  • She has flat boobs!!

  • how do you make your video not lag? and turn green and pixelated? every time i try to upload my video from xtranormal it turns out all splotchy

  • omg!! so funny and so typical,

  • Nine hundred and eleven! Haha!!!!

  • @MrOhjames I love it lol..

  • LOL

  • Lol

  • There are times in the a lot of times its the other way around in the ER

  • I'm a paramedic in Georgia..and this happens quite frequently here..everything in this video happened to me..when I saw the video..I thought someone had followed me around and video my call to a local nursing home

  • I'm a RN and I work at the VA hospital in the ED, so this was a little insulting at first, but then I realized it was for nursing home nurses and it made sense...

  • @lucie0519 I've worked in detox, hospice, postop, and a nursing home. There are some nurses that aren't too bright there but I've never met one that didn't at least get a set of vitals and know how to use a crash cart.

  • @CheekyThrill Yea honestly this video is just stupid, even if it is a joke, but these jokes are what cause the discrimination and competition between the two I guess. I will admit some nurses are terrible but I'm sure there are some lazy EMS too.

  • @lucie0519 Well, perhaps if the nurses unions hadn't forced paramedics out of ED's there would be as much contention. There was a trend many years ago where paramedics were replacing RN's in ED's because the medical field recognized paramedics were better equipped, through their training, to handle emergency patients. The nurses unions knowingly misrepresented and falsified differences between paramedics and RNs to preserve their place in ED's. We are still fighting for the respect we deserve.

  • make the fireman a girl and the nurse a boy...

  • LOL Is this is Seattle??

  • Comment removed

  • To finish my statement, yes as nurses we are patient advocates & do what we think is right for that patient. However, it may be right, but thinking you will be an expert witness to testify that you did it all without a doctors orders is ok, you are dead wrong. Yes, you can get an order after the fact & write it into the nurses notes with a time that is before you gave the med, however, that will backfire sometime & are you now willing to testify that you broke the law?

  • As a Legal Nurse Consultant who once did patient care, my last SNF job was house supervisor in Las Vegas, NV, and RN's sat on as while LPNs did most of work. All they did was push pills. The CNA's of today do more hands on patient care than most nurses do. In a nursing home it's easier to break open the crash cart or to give critical meds without an order. Many nurses do it. Why? Because if you waited around for the house physician to call back, your patient will be dead by then.

  • LMFAO

  • OMG, this is so fucking typical of not only firemen but men in general. I am a RN and my hubby is a fireman/para~God who also knows every freaking thing. Heres a question for ya, if you're so freaking useful and all I do is wipe asses why is my check double yours bitches????? GTG, I got asses to wipe and orders to obtain. lol ( :

  • @RwolfRN LMAO...agreed!

  • had a similar experience in Houston...responded to a SNF and the nurse stated that the PT was AMS in the ALZ wing...this RN stated that the PT usually leans to the left, but today he was leaning to the right, and requested that we transport to Memorial NW...my Partner and I just stared in disbelief that this RN would be that stupid....…but this is what you get at so called "Skilled" Nursing Facilities.....LMAO

  • @roguescot1 Typical comment from someone who picks em up when we call, lol..If he leaned to the right and is now leaning to the left..the object is to call you and get them off the floor before they lean to the front...lol...goofy...think outside the box.

  • Why is a firefighter answering an ambulance call? Don't they have paramedics in America? Over here firefighters, you know, fight fires.

  • @stupidjunk878 In some areas Firefighters are first responders up to paramedics. Yes, firefighters you know, fight fires. But they are also medical trained.

  • @stupidjunk878 and ove rhere in america, our firefighter are also emt's or at least certified first responders....we have diverse training like that.

  • @stupidjunk878 because over here in America, we firefighters are also emt's, or at at a minimum are certified first responders. We are more diversely trained so we can do more than just put the wet stuff on the red stuff as some call it. It's kind of nice to have people like us around when the emt's get sent on sevral runs for bs calls like "my toe hurts, or I have the flu, come take me to the hospital so we can waste the taxpayers money instead of driving ourselves....

  • @miketheknight God damn that is the truth. I don't know how much more I can take.

  • Hilarious!

  • Omfg this is so true.. I've had maybe what the fuck moments like this.. I had a full arrest and they were bagging a pt with a trache through the mouth...sometimes it makes me wonder...

  • HAHA

  • I work in a long-term care pharmacy who service these facilities. I get the same responses and they're very nasty toward us. apparently they think just because we're a pharmacy i can authorize roxanol (morphine 20mg/1ml) to be taken from the emergency kit without a valid script which is totally illegal according to the controlled substance act of 1970. apparently they think just because they have a patient in pain or is actively dying i can just "over look" federal laws.

  • @pharmabuff shit, I never call you folks to get what I want...lmaoo...I pop the box and get the order later... why waste time dealing with the pharmacy?...When I am on the court stand, I can justify my actions...to many nurses are to scared to utilize their training...I mean, get an order, for fucks sakes, but in ER situations, use your noggin...Jury will have more sympathy if you are trying to save a life rather than watch it fade, period.

  • hahahahhahaah dead on with this one!

  • This is totally hilarious. Definately close to real life. lol

  • @ 666neverforgetisuckdicks, I hope you know that nobody enjoys running with you. Anyone that's a first responder and doesn't have a sense of humor must be a real f@$%ing tool.

  • I don't know why people are complaining about how this makes nursing staff look when in reality they're that stupid. I just had a call dispatched as a cardiac arrest. We got there and the pt had a pulse and was breathing (of course). The nurse points to the O2 sat which says 77% and I pointed to the oxygen tank (which was connected to a NRB) that was running at 5 liters. Fucking idiots - 99.9% of em. Couldn't cut it as a real nurse so they get a job at a nursing home and sit on their fat asses

  • @rothrock13 I don't get it?

  • Comment removed

  • So true and been there too. LPNs at nursing homes are stupid as fuck and can't think for themselves.

  • PA nurse practice acts states that endotracheal intubation is within a registered nurse's scope of practice.

  • 77 dislikes are the nurses that couldn't cut it in a hospital have this happen to them..It is so frustrating to come to a nursing home and have this happen, esp at that time of the morning. You can't base everything off of O2 sats!

  • i worked in a nursing home as an aid for 4 yrs before going into ems. i always got mad at the nurses when i knew more of what to do than they did, and usually ended up giving reports to the emts, now that i am a paramedic things have not changed, i don't know how many times i've ran this exact call

  • this is some great stuff

  • Omg this is soootrue! Its kinda an inside thing for ffs people, chill pill! Clasic bro, funny shit

  • I am the one that made this video! Everyone just relax!! This was a real call but the paramedics nor the CNA or LPN acted exactly like this! I am proud to say that we here have a very good working relationship with all our local Conv. Homes, hospitals & ER nurses & DR's! These were made to laugh at so to everyone here including 343remember911 or whatever, go get a beer, relax and just laugh!! It cant be that bad!

  • Umm....ummm....ummmm....puppet, puppet....I will bend over to be intubated!! LOL OMG this is friggin funnier than hell!!!

  • lmao.

  • Don't know who makes these but they're genius.

  • Don't know who makes these but they're genius.

  • This is funny I am an RN and it is sad that some of the Nurses are like especially at the assisted living centers....my husband is a firefighter to so great laughs!!!

  • I love the nursing home nurse stereotype!

  • YousuckPeriod = the REAL FAIL, LMAO!

  • Omg! That is effing hilarious!

  • the other day we had a nurse call respiratory to fix a bed in snf.lol

  • Comment removed

  • wipe dirty ass's and charge diapers Classic!

  • sad but true

  • Xtranormal sucks ass.

  • Comment removed

  • this isnt necc proper for the firefighter, BUT i have gone to nursing homes and heard just about word for word this speech from them. Including one that was dead and they didnt know why his O2 sat's wouldnt come up..

  • This is a sad example of the kind of people we now have in the fire service. Please do not associate this kind of behavior or mentality from this sorry excuse for a firefighter with those of us that are professionals and take our job and responsibilities seriously. My suggestion... Get serious about the job or move aside and let someone that will take it seriously have it! Good Luck.

  • 1:10 is the best part!!

  • Reading the comments to these videos is the icing on a cake of very laughable material. From one person stating that nurses cannot do an "evasive" procedure without an MD order, to another person who thinks medics have no right stepping into a hospital...the ignorant and unexperienced. I was a CNA, then LVN, then ICU RN, now Nursing Supervisor. I've seen it all and love how these videos say what I want to but cannot.

  • LOL! A typical day in the life of EMS!!

  • AAron and Haas are Fagging it up!!!!!!!! Check out xtranormal Best Friends!

  • Comment removed

  • LOL!

  • Not all nurses are like this!

  • @reddy2settle I agree wholeheartedly. A RN shouldn't be acting like this.

  • they keep calling the patient her but clearly...that's a dude.

  • I am an EMT in GA and sadly, this is pretty much what a conversation is like. Sadly, it gets to the point where you expect it so you take the pt and leave as quick as possible.a

  • Unfortunately, I am not a nurse or a firefighter however I have been an innocent bystandard listening to this transgression many a time and I will have to side with the firefighter although nurses have somehow unionized.

  • Awesome job with the video!

  • Comment removed

  • I run into this all the time when I respond to nursing homes.

  • I can't stop laughing. My mom said "Funny, but that's not what it's really like, right?"

  • Would be funnier if it was an actual Paramedic on this call rather than a Fire Truck Driver.

  • @tamzntrev Many fire depts. have paramedic services. And many times these medics are in turnout gear. Maybe not the helmet, but alot of times wear the full gear.

  • In all fairness, I work in a nursing home and sadly, this is fairy accurate. I am the only RN, the only one with hospital experience, and the only one with trauma experience. Not to mention the place pays so poorly that we have no chance of actually getting anyone good. It is so sad, I spend most of my time just getting the paperwork done so we can get paid. Out of 8 nurses I said 2 are decent and the rest should be banned from healthcare.

  • Wow flashback...

  • what is the site to create these

  • ALL SO TRUE!

  • how do you get three people

  • I do agree with some of the stuff posted here and in this video. However, why didn't you show the firefighter trying to show off some of his skills? Instead of just BSing. I just remembered a firefighter tried to tourniquete an already tourniqueted pt with his handy dandy sphygmomanometer. It would've been nice if he had checked before he tried to belittle the nurses.

  • the sad thing....this is real life....so fucking scary...I hope I die suddenly before I ever have to be put in a nursing home.

  • "What, do you expect us to stop at fucking Starbucks for an iced coffee before we come here?"

    "um." lmfao

  • all of these are a riot and oh so true....

  • Love it! Too funny!

  • This is exact! " I have so many other patients, Im not her nurse, see you in a couple days Stella" it never changes

  • ah we had one of these a few weeks ago, damn CNA's lol

  • bahahahahahhaa. "no you got here so fast" EVERY single time we show up thats the line i get.

  • this is s*****

  • wow you can intubate... congratulations. I hope when your old ass is living in the nursing home for 364 days out of the year you are allowed to sit in your own excrement.

  • @ryosapien you retard there are 365 days in a year!

  • so true!..."This isnt my shift" my a**!!

  • Very funny and true. Sounds like the nurses I know, and I've only been riding EMS for 6 months.

  • This is about as true as it gets, sadly.

  • Reminds me of how we feel at the psych er when someone like this poor pt comes in. They're altered , but they are an alzheimers pt. And now the nursing home won't take them back!

  • Stockton for sure

  • As an RN, allow me to apologize to every firefighter this has ever happened to!

  • thank u for apologizing i have been on many calls in my 5 years as an EMT like this

  • This is how i feel all the time when i got to the nursing homes.....

  • if thats not the truth!

  • I'm not even in this industry but I see the truth in it and it's hilarious.

  • This is really spot on!!!

  • OH MY GOODNESS! I swear I just ran this CALL!!!!

  • i hate nursing homes, they always call at 3 am

  • hahahahahah ohheemmggee that was effing funnaayy!!! :D

  • God, I love this. :D The firefighter told her off.

  • LOL....spot on. Fucking con home nurses are idiots.

  • Microsofts SAM, now thats classic...lol

  • Sounds exactly like my trips to the nursing homes!!! Nobody speaks english and they are all a bunch of morons!!!!

  • This is spot on. Been there...

  • LMAO!! My instructor told me about shit like this

  • This makes me laugh so hard because its the truth! The reason why 98% of RN's and Dr's who work in Nursing homes couldnt make it in the hospital! This is a great video!

  • thisis hilarious

  • I thought this was so funny...got to admit no matter who you are ...as a nurse in a nursing home I see this alot from my fellow co-workers...it makes me wonder how they became a nurse.....

  • I agree with Roblvgn... As paramedics we see this kind of thing all the time. And as stated before... There are lots of good RNs and there are lots of drop the ball medics. Thanks so much for making this medic laugh.. ;)

  • ****@firemedic274 "kindly" wrote me a filthy, disparaging comment more worthy of an acne ridden, morbidly obese 14 year old than a "firemedic". MAJOR anger issues. Closing suggstion was that I run outside and play and go f*** myself. Clearly an issue with mixing metaphors too. One wonders if the "big man" would feel as comfortable posting crude and sexist comments to someone from a traditionally male profession. I rather doubt it. Sorry your mommy let you down, cupcake. Now move on!

  • I am a LPN that works in a Rehab unit and I laughed so hard at this video I just about peed my pants! All of us LPN's are not this stupid!

  • Hello everyone, I am the one who made this video! Everyone relax!! This was a call I went on at a con home not an ER, not ICU! Plus I have been to a few nursing homes with great nurses and lpn. I know fireman that are not the brightest either. This is not about any particular person and everyone just needs to laugh, it was not meant to get a couple of nurses upset! RELAX and LAUGH! We all need each other................

  • this is 98% of all nursing homes staff members in the cit that i work in with over 50 nursing homes. oh and about half of them barely can speek spanish. coumadin o/d 4 times the amount for 3 days at a rehab. they save lives.......:)

  • Comment removed

  • Apparently you are talking about LPNs and a nursing home... I work in trauma icu at a level 1 trauma center and apparently you haven't got to see real nursing. And lpns are being phased out ne ways.

  • RELAX jdlippiatt! NURSING HOME! read the title! This is meant to laugh at...........

  • Comment removed

  • paramedic student. this is so true i hear it all the time on my clinicals. priceless!

  • this deserves an oscar! incredibly correct! i wish i could quote this cartoon on the job.

  • your absolutely right firemedic274...I think they may have recorded this from a call I was on about 2 weeks ago!!!

  • This is such bull. Haven't seen one of the "godly" paramedics come in ONCE in 15 years with a warm newborn (cold stress can keep a newborn in persistent fetal circulation...which is deadly) and not one of them can intubate or start an IV on anything weighing less than 30 pounds. We all have our places, and I don't know where some of you work, but I'm lucky to have a chance to PEE in a 12 hour shift in the NICU, much less eat, smoke or gossip!

  • @FFXIPrincess

You are obviously out of your F!@#ing mind..... Can you even wipe an ass without a written order?? What's it like to go through life not having a damn clue?? Must be nice living in your little world...... why don't you run out side, and play a little game of hide and go f#$% yourself!

  • RELAX FFXI princess! With a name like princess no wonder you have no sense of humor! I hope you have a better life! I made this video to laugh at.................

  • Sounds like this firefighter needs to work in a city where all he has to do is fight fires and not go on rescue calls, better yet a city that only has emergencies during the day.

  • I love these videos. So accurate :-)

  • 1:10- 1:30 is my favorite part!!!
