I'm REALLY suprised that the man kicking the stallion didn't get kicked back, or worse. That shows that, actually, he's probably a pretty well behaved guy, just started feeling his hormones is all.... lol

This video is a good example why only geldings or mares should be used for events like this. If the owner of the stud in this video knew the risks of having him near those mares, he should have used a gelded mount.
The guy in the white shirt who kicked the stallion apparently looks like a guest and has no damn clue how to handle horses. His conduct is way out of line. No excuse for that behavior.

What was the guy thinking, if that was one of our stallions he would have a fair few broken bones and a horse shoe shaped scar on his forehead. missycroc1 you are cruel and need to be locked up in the looney box there is no reason to do that, if you had bollocks I would spread your legs and have my 17hh shire give you a good kickin then se if you can stand. 1. You people are rediculous, the owner of the horse could get fined if his horse were to breed like that.
2. Horses have tougher skin and hide than people do. So smacking him wouldn't hurt him like you think, kicking him in the genitals was the only option, and could in no way hurt as bad as if you were to kick a human man there.

Honeslty I would panic in a situation like that. You can get in a lot of trouble if your stallion breeds with another mare without permission from the mares owner. I wouldn't want someone to press charges against me for not having my horse under control. I would do everything in my power to stop that horse!

Agree, this is terrible stallion handling. If you are going to get on a stallion's back, make sure YOU are the dominant stallion. At least these pics make this wedding memorable! Kicking the stallion in the penis is common practice by the way, although I never found it necessary with my stud.

Okay, a few things. (A) You shouldn't take a mare in heat out, especially one harnessed to a carriage. (B) If you're riding a stallion and he gets excited, you should keep him away from other horses. Common sense, right? (Oh yeah, some of us don't have any, obviously.) (C) Don't be stupid enough to hit/whip/kick or otherwise strike a stallion while he's mating. It can really mess with their heads, plus it's just really stupid and makes you look like an idiot and a bad person.

wow...thats incredibly uncool. Not all stallions have to be this way, if they are trained and handled properly they wont do this. I am not a fan of suing every time someone takes a wrong step in your direction, but this person needs their ass sued off before their out of control stallion kills some little kid on their pony.
