WoW that's a fast loadup time, espically for a Celeron. I remember our old computer took 15minutes to load up with XP it's specs are

Intel Celeron 2.66Ghz

1.5GB RAM

Saphire Radeon HD3650 512MB AGP version

and it Sucks! cuz celeron are old and slower

i have a year 2000 gateway desktop that cost 1.4k and its slow X D intel celeron 2.2GHz Intel Extreme graphics 64MB 768DDR RAM(upgraded from 512DDR RAM)40GB Hard Drive DVD+RW/CW+RW(upgraded from cd+rw) and thats it and o yeah its running norton 360 which is freaking slowing it down X D

This runs games alright, its showing its age running 2010 games, but 2009 and 2008 games it runs decent.

i have this same processor overclocked to 3.4ghz im thinking of adding a video card to it and more ram but i need to know first

@Fr3shB0iii It runs all COD's greatly at like 25 - 30 FPS, runs MW2 better then COD4 and WaW since MW2 is more optimized, not sure about any NFS games but since they're a few years older it will have no problem, only case is if the game is poorly optimized such as NFS Undercover.

leave alone the celeron, which is off course, a slow processor choice, but you have a custom built, 1.25 GB of RAM and an ATI video card, this would make the computer run very fast!

The answer is ... optimization! There are just the most important running while windows start. I'm turned off all the graphics effects too. This is the secret!

@exoiavanko .. hi friend, i have celeron r 2.80 ghz, but without things running, its still 97 full...my ram is 512 mb and im thinking if i upgrade ram my cpu would run better and less? any advice would be nice.i might upgrade to 1 gb ram to sort it out, or should i upgrade to pentium..i only watch youtube but recently, its been making alot of noise..thanks.

I ran Windows XP on a Pentium II processor at 266MHz with 64MB RAM and no graphics card! Still working fine! =)

But now I run XP on a 3.33GHz Celeron D 356 processor with 2GB RAM and ATI RADEON X1100 GPU.
