How to curl your hair with a flat iron

^^^^^^^^^^ don't wait for your hair to dry if you do it !! keep it wet, my way is so you dont have to burn your hair to a crisp :)

I have a way for those people who don't like to hurt their hair (as much).

1> Take a shower the night before you do are supposed to do your hair.

2> When you are out, brush it through to make it straight and not naughty.

3> Take a very small section of your hair, about finger width, you don't need to be exact.

4> Twist it into a ringlet, then you can put this piece of hair in your mouth.

5> Now, put this into a pony tail. The next morning it should be dry, then you can partly curl it :)

But I would suggest to start curling the top part of your hair a little bit below where you do it now, just to give it a cuter look :)

Why would anyone take the time do this when its just so easy and fast to use Hot Sticks or the Infiniti Wand? Plus the top of the head looks flat, straight and just bad when you do it with a flat iron. Even though you did the curls as good as it gets with a straighter it still doesn't look good on top.

@goofygadgit I'm a person who can't stand curling irons. Because I have layers, it always seems like a hassle & doesn't look as great to me. Honestly I love curling my hair with my flat iron. Its easy to do, doesn't take long, and I'm in control of the curl I'm wanting. I really don't feel that it looks straight at all because when you're creating the curl your giving your hair a lot of volume as well.

@goofygadgit But, if you get to the root more so than what I did, you can create more of a curl where I guess it wouldn't look as straight. I'm not sure if that helps get a better idea, but I sure hope it did! Thank you for your comment!* ^-^

@goofygadgit Because using a wand takes forever. And rolling your hair with layers is a bitch. Curling with a flat iron is a plus. I always curl mine that way and you would never know the difference.

AH, So glad you posted this :) I have heard so much about people using a flat iron to curl their hair but I had no idea how and it sounded ridiculous anyway ( I usually just scrunch mine) but this is great! Super easy and I am much less likely to burn myself! Haha. Also, there is so much more curl at the bottom which is what I want. I have thick hair and lots of layers so I don't want to look like a lion, I just want the ends really curly. Not a bunch of curl near my roots. Thanks so much! :)

@dearshareee I agree, I've seen so many guru's do this. The reason I wanted to make this video is because I wanted it to be for a reference for when I do curly hair tutorials. That and it was also requested from a few people. I will defiantly be making more curly tutorials now that I have this one out of the way though.

Lol, I tend to curl it that way, but for that real thick curls with lots and lots of volume I spray the CHI Volume Booster,it works really well and it smells great!
