Live Trace a Photoshop document

i got what i wanted but am a little inquiring more can somebody help me on how to trace a jpeg smartly to vector if i need to brand a textile

i think this is a common problem,,whenever i click the "edit original" button in illustrator, my image viewer pops up instead of photoshop..any answers my friends???

I have Illustrator 9.0 and Photoshop 7.0. Is it possible to do this tracing method?

Do I need to upgrade my programs? Can I just trace by upgrading to Illustrator CS3?

When you say Photoshop Document, what kind of document do you mean? Photoshop EPS or ___? Thanks

ctrl, alt, double click on document....goes back to ps...jeepers thanks, Basics I never new.

wxcuse me,I am using Mac,and I have done all the "pacing" and "linking" you have said in the video.But what do I click to transfer between PS and Illustrator ?Thanks so muck

File-> Place, and make sure the box named "link" in the next thing that pops up is clicked
