Just because you think you know psychology and how to wrestle does not mean you know how to "work" or that you truely understand the wrestling business. I have been there, I was a backyarder who thought he knew better and then truth is you dont. Also, I would like to point out that though Vampiro, New Jack, Sandman and Konnan may have drawn money at some point, all 4 were never great wrestlers and Sandman and New Jack's style of wrestling is nothing more then glorified backyarding..

trust me, i know that i don't know everything about ring psychology mainly because i've only done 6 ring shows, but i do think i know how to work a crowd, not as good maybe but i think i know what i'm doing. pricks like wrestlingwoody who claim that what we do is the flaming table bullshit i put them in their place always. thats why i made this video. Konnan was a great wrestler, if you mean he was never a "famous" wrestler then you might be right but he was always a great wrestler & worker.

Ultimately, BYW is for marks. You do not pay a bunch of money to a wrestling school to get ripped off. Part of the reason you pay is to ensure that you really want to be there, and if you do really want to be there then you would fin ways to pay. There are ways to get into wrestling without paying for a school. I started doing ring crew and I was taught before shows. Eventually I did have to pay to go to school to learn the correct ways of doing things.

The mark verson is the one that i hate, the ultra violent ecw copycats with no regards to training and reallputting in work. i understood that the price is for dedication testing, but its more because of the name behind the school, thats a fact i'm afraid. WA4 in atlanta only charges 884 for training for life, thats booker ts school. you got lucky to of gotten the training while on crew.

Booker T's school is actually in Texas if I am not mistaken. I am familar with WA4, I'm pretty sure it is the school that came from the WCW Powerplant after WCW was bought out. I do to an extent have respect for yarders. I was one, and I understand the plight and I know its not all deathmatch. I never once did a BYW deathmatch. As far as luck, I dont think so. Anyone can do it if they are respectful and show a true interest and passion. Get in touch with a local fed, and you'll see. Most do it.

BYW is the unsanctioned training ground to usually pro wrestling and many pro personalities wish not to concede due to BYW's negative media attention and the fact that they dislike that it occurs in an unsanctioned realm. Truth of the matter though, Some BYW federations offer a style of innovation and the wrestlers later evolve from it and take on PW. I think Pro wrestling need to credit BYW because they'd probably not have as much creatively skilled pros out there today to choose from.

way to go with this, man. i got this dvd a couple months ago at a used video store and found it really awesome. the first full length match taking place in a theatre wasnt that great, but the rest was phenomenal. backyard wrestling rules, and woody is a tool.

Though, Paul Burchill didn't condemn backyard wrestling. He condemned the "wrestling" that is hardcore just to be hardcore. Unlike the NSW which is not just a hardcore spot fest.

great video diddyman.  and what everyone needs to understand is that NSW is not an ultraviolent federation. so theres not that much risk of people getting seriously injured.
