@xxwillowdragonxx Well, not even the veterinary managed to sex her at that time. And no, It's abut a year since I stopped breeding rats. And you should stop making accusations like that without having the whole story or been there yourself.
She is the only one who where wrongly sexed, in my 11 years of having rats, so she's a special case.
My rat is going to give birth at any moment now. Allready put the male in a different cage, just to be safe (he keeps picking on her and beeing bossy all over the place, sooo...). Tomorrow someone is bringing a much bigger cage that can be divided in two halfs, this way mummy and the babies are not beeing harassed by him, tho I'm going to wait to put them all inthere till the babies are a week or so. I just hope everything goes well, since it's her first litter.
mine , a 'capped-color' female rat with black and white fur , gave birth surprisingly to two rat pinkies i assume they are one day old? because they have that scab at the end of their cord on their bellies.
i recently bought a cute little rat, and she has started to show a err, rather large belly!, but watching this has reasured me that it can go okay. cute rats by the way.
Let's see.. I have 4 Black Berkshire Husky, 2 Blue Berkshire Husky, 2 Blue European Berkshire, 9 Black Hooded, 5 Black European Berkshire, 1 Black Irish, 1 himalaya, 1 Agouti Self, 1 Black Self and 1 albino
that was very cute. i had three rats. one was playboy and he died shortly after i had him. my next rat was roxy. we thought she was lonley and we got another rat, rain. then this year on chrismas eve 2008 rain died but lived longer then playboy. rain had two tumors and gang grene with two open wounds. i am 11 going on 12 and roxy is timid and looking old but is still alive. she once had an open bone fracture bu it closed up and she is healthy now.
