These people are the shit of the world. Only drinking alcohol the entire day, doing nothing constructive, living on welfare and other parasitical actions. The jew lawyer is a fking retard too, still holding on a long gone past. Sacha Baron Cohen, the actor playing Borat, is jewish himself, which is quite ironic. I am glad they didn't get those millions, as a community they got 10.000 euro's, location fees, computers and school and office supplies, which is a pretty fair bargain for a shithole.
used to love the movie borat but after watching this it makes me dislike the movie, this is truely sad, these poor people, what would be nice is if hollywood would help resore housing for these people instead of exploiting them, so many rich people in the world but no one stops to help them!. . :(
Okay...this part really is sad. This doco is exploiting the Romanians just as much as Borat did, if not more so. It's obvious the three Romanians are completely out of their depth in England. They've really got no hope of accomplishing anything without a translator. My main question though, is what were the lawyers hoping to get out of this? It's obvious they're taking advantage of these people, but for what? What benefit does that do them?
I feel sorry for them.. It made me cry to wtach this. Rich and heartless people can do anything with poor ones for fun. It's not funny from my point of view.
@So9028 Greed is the real villain here, not the film "Borat". At least 75% of that film was bashing Americans in broad daylight. It would be one thing if these people appeared to be doing this for the right reasons, but this doc makes them look more opportunistic than victimized. While after the success of the film there should have been better compensation than 3 bucks, but it is not like the producers knew Borat would be such a hit.
@RuinerxxSINCITY how can you blame them for being opportunistic though when the village is so impoverished? it's true the producers didn't know borat would make megabux, but they still shouldn't have deceived the town and told them was a documentary, while they were being made fun of in an unkown language, and get paid less than 1hr US minimum wage.
it's a shame that the lawyers had to be so extreme though, setting out to 'ruin sasha baron cohen', imo they exploited the town worse than fox did

They'll get a cut of the action if the class lawsuit succeeds. And yes, this lawyer dude disgusts me. He's the scum of the earth.
