I would seriously love to see Dragon Mystic debate D.A. Carson (or any of my professors) to see if there is evidence for the Christian faith. I love any music that encompasses Christianity. I have head of Skillet before, but today was the first day I spent a little time researching them. Started off the interview with the devil hand sign 0.06. Use the word lucky. Almost every video I have seen the people that comment use filthy words to describe the band as cool. They seem to be promoting self rather then Christ Jesus. Alter calls are not Biblical. And do more harm then good. All and all; disappointing.

That is simply impossible. So if were standing by each other, and we both saw a pink elephant fly by: you would think that they exist, and I would know it was an optical illusion of some kind.
That's what it means to KNOW god doesn't exist vs. THINK god doesn't exist. Either you live in the real world, or you do not.

For example the song Hero you can interpret it in any way, the hero could be anything, but the word Jesus or just even Lord, can limit the many ways a person can interpret the song. its not a way to reach people who do not have faith because they dont even know its "christian music" even mass media labels it "rock"

This inst "watered down worship" its Christian Rock. Oh BTW, The song angels fall down does say Lord refering to Jesus, and its very obvious @ their concerts that they are a chistian band. I kno, ive been to four of them, ive met them three times, and my dad is the guy interviewing John in this interview.

I listen to kutless a lot, and when I decided to listen to this group as a sample its waaaaaaay different from third day, merchant band and kutless. I look at skillet commentaries on this site and all i see are people cursing , saying how "hot" the drummer is, all I'm saying is that this band is for money and not for the glory of God.

@agustinromanii that is true as far as the cursing and the drummer thing but if you have ever been to there concert they clearly make a bold stand as far as wat they believe. and half of there songs are made to be crossovers but some of them obviously arent. especially song from there earlier albums. search Skillet: Angels Fall Down on youtube and listen to that song. thats clearly made to be a more upbeat worship song.
