what do you do if the turbine turns off and the jet is in the middle of the water? is there some electric motor you have to steer it back to you?

the same thing any float plane flyer does. you should have a small boat or at least a fishing pole to retrieve dead stick planes when flying on water....

Congrats on the build, I was just thinking the other day that a turbine float plane would be great.

that's awesome, i have a P80 sitting here doing nothing and have been thinking about putting it in a boomer for an everyday model. how did you construct th hulls? is there any plans for it? A boomer would go down well at our annual float plane day

can you still use the flap with the float installed?? I'm thinking of putting conventional floats on mine....

I set it up with flaperons and locked the center flap up although I have not used the flaps yet.

never clocked it but would guess about 90 to 100

that was just a clip of the 2nd flight take off and landing cut out the rest of the flight for time and space.
