Ion Redlines are the shit, I have an 06 Cobalt SS which is the same and with a smaller pulley bigger injectors a tune and bolt ons I've never lost to a honda, b series big turbo lightweight or anything. The LSJ is a totally underrated engine.

That example makes no sense to begin with! but you are forgetting a major factor!! THE HEAD!! You can have a huge bore/Stroke/compression but if it cant breath for shit then it wont make jack shit HP for it size,just huge torque(may as well buy a diesel) ..You're also forgetting on Higher reving engines (like honda etc), torques starts alot later on the rev range and doesn't drop off until hi up..Small stroke big bore engines make HP and TORQUE in HIGHER  rev range.

lol Horsepower means nothing. torque is what makes a car move. Short stroke engine sacrifice torque because of the mechanical leverage is lessened because the lobes are closer to the center of the crank. If you want to go accelerate fast, you need torque. If you want to beat wind, you need torque. If you just want to keep revving then cut displacement. Torque wins races. HP is just a bs number that means nothing in the real world.

Man merkt ganz klar, dass über 8500 kaum noch was kommt, da kannst du mir nichts erzählen.

Ein Motor hat eine Effizienz, die zB bei 6700 rpm bei 200nm liegt.

Und je weiter man sich davon entfernt, desto weniger Power.

Daher ist überdrehen völlig sinnlos, geschweige denn gut für den Motor, außer die Teile halten das aus und der Motor ist drauf abgestimmt.
