ren is an amzing little rider!!! Nothing knock his confidence on salsa so dont let anyone or anything knock his confidence!! If he has confidence in his pony, his pony will have confidence in him so dont and i mean dont let anyone knock him!!! He will be one of the best riders in Canada by the time he is 17 or 18!!!!!!

i think u should definitly consider getting boots for any of your ponies jumping 2'9 or over! it will preserve the legs and they give the legs extra support!

well where do you get your tack? All you have to do is ask your local tack shop on the sizes and what they recommend! but ya a good brand is "eskadron" and thats the one's that i have.

They need to not stand up in there stirrups so much thought. If those ponies refused they'd go right over.. They need to close the hip angle :)

Man can your kids ride... I have been taking jumper lessons and have maxed out at 2'6! I can see your kids going to the Olympics.... by the way.. i'm almost 14! pretty sad.. but they are definate future Olympic riders!

I doubt the kids of your detractors will ever have the satisfaction of having "Mastered" a horse that was a bit too green and too much a while ago. You and your son should be very proud. He should start recycling some problem ponies for CASH!!!

They have kinda been doing pony upgrades since there first one Starbuck then Serenade now Salsa

Ren takes the falls and his other two younger brothers take the credit

Its a good thing the ponies dont run on Microsoft OS they would crash way more and you would need a 19 hand draft horse just to get the kids over X poles

The boys are in desert (hi heat) training for the next two weeks but they should be at the MREC at the end of this month

Hopefully Ren will be riding Goshow Blaze his Canadian Warmblood grand pre horse thisll be there first show together

really nice (: Improved and now has this horse under control... although it really seems like he just "stands" when he jumps and doesnt really get into 2 point... needs to keep his butt in the saddle more and get down on the horses neck more.... but i really do see much improvement in this rider! I hope i could have helped? Haha...

I am no expert on this but at 331 you can see that Ren is starting to push the pony over the apex of the jump

As for the 2 point what he has been working on is lifting or popping with the pony as to help it over or using his body weight 80 lbs to not only take this of the pony but to reduce the ponies jump mass by his weight this is a very advanced technique I am told
