  • intersting. kind of makes me wish the language school I'm gonna go to wasn't in kyoto. but i guess each area has something unique to offer.

  • @Cyrus150 Kind of makes you wish it WASN'T in Kyoto? Looks like a nice place to me. :) Just don't overdose on temples...

  • @lissheim wasn't in Tokyo*** Wow my bad! The cities have the exact same letters, just scrambled >.<

  • @Cyrus150 Haha, yeah. ;) I've finally settled for a language school in Kyoto but it wasn't an easy choice. I love a big crazy city like Tokyo where there's always something going on. Then again the Kansai region has plenty to offer as well, Kyoto will make a nice hub.

  • @lissheim Nice, when do you leave? I start summer 2012 but can't stop thinking about it.

  • @Cyrus150 School starts in April, if I get in. :) What school have you picked?

  • @lissheim KCP International =D You?

  • @Cyrus150 KICL (Kyoto Institute of Culture and Language) for me. :)

  • @lissheim @Cyrus150 I'm also thinking about going to a language school in Japan Most Likely Fall 2012/spring 2013. However, I'd actually like to stay in Osaka or Nagoya.

  • @TechExpertZ J-vlogger Gimmeabreakman has a language school in Nagoya, but I'm not so sure he teaches Japanese there. :D From what I've heard there's not much to see in Nagoya but it's a nice place to live in. What do you like about Nagoya? I know the Kansai dialect is the strongest in Osaka, but you'd probably only pick it up if you got close Japanese friends. Don't know if you're interested in that dialect.

  • @lissheim I've watched a ton of videos on Nagoya and it seems like the most down to earth normal city i've come across. Tokyo is too modern, too flashy. Nagoya just is what it was most like when I grew up in my town. I get the biggest connection towards Nagoya.

  • @TechExpertZ Sounds great. A lot of people seem to feel the same way about Fukuoka as well, another city worth looking up if you haven't!

  • I'm now to go to the Kyoto trip :-)
