  • big leopard negro

  • mahoosive conspiracy in every country about animals such as these innit fam :P

  • This could also be the "Extinct" Tasmanian tiger or thylacine, anither of animal x's investigations.

There is a town about an hour from where i live that is said to have a panther lurking around, so the stories are everywhere. (New South Wales)

  • @LittleGreenMen0 Except that a Tasmanian Tiger actually looks canine instead of feline.

  • it's big foot's dog

  • @evanpingu XD yep it bigfoots dog haha XD

  • Have you ever wonder why the government might not agree to accept the fact there are big cats, all you have to do is read some of these comments. If they did confirm they existed, a bunch farmers would start packing and head out into the forest for a killing spree. Sheesh, what incentive does the government have to tell you the truth when the first thing it sounds like most of you would do would be to kill them all.

  • The last statement on the video was just absurd. If these cats are cougars or puma's then they are definitely not likely to attack humans. Cougars, puma's, or mountains (same animal) avoid humans. The live in seclusion and are very shy. You have a better chance of getting struck by lightening twice then getting attack by a cougar. I don't know if you guys have big cats or not, or if they were brought from the states, but if they are cougars I can tell you now they won't be likely to attack.

  • B L A C K P A N T H E R !!!!!

  • omg I saw 1 once ... in a zoo

  • Even in South East Kansas there are sitings of puma, but yet the "authorities" deny them, even say they are just "large house cats". Even with it on a security camera, they still deny it is a large cat.

  • 3 of us were hunting in a reserve we decided 2 turn back after walking for 3 hours and seen some big cat prints in the sand. we couldnt figure out what they where until we were almost near the car. as we got closer 2 the car we heard something rusell in the twigs and leaves on the side of the fire trail it spotted us and jumped from one side of the track into the bush's it sounded like a horse running thru the scrub it was bigger then any dog or cat i had ever seen a fawn colour. nattai reserve

  • @fatend1st

hey mate did you follow or what? i mean cause at least you were armed did you think of following it or not?

  • this just proves the government is stupid

  • this doesnt make sense hunt humans and not animals humans are animals

  • @kapeloop what county/town in england?. check out big cats in britain google it

  • @rosilita a lot of big cats were native to uk but escapes and released animals are probably th reason we have them in uk. in 1880s there were regular tiger and leopard hunts all over uk look it up it true

  • it's a puma?

  • their are melanistic leopards/jaguars known as panthers in uk they r regularly seen in more rural areas of the uk so it dont suprise me that they in aussie bush

  • @87supergaz in the uk? Wtf! .. how did they even get there

  • Big cats could survive easy in the australian bush so much food goats roo,s pigs rabbits and so on.

  • i live in wa and have heard stories like this

  • Ive seen the paw prints of one near my grandparents home in england, and it wasnt a dog since it wasnt showing the claw's

  • @kapeloop

i hear ya mate, my friends uncle was a hunter who traveled all over the world hunting, but his last few years he spent hunting something on the english moores, he calimed it was a werewolf or somehting huge with fur and claws, he devoted all his time to it... a couple weeks later he was found torn to shreds floating down a river, they assumed he fell of a boat into a propeller but we really know what happened.

  • Is look like an Jaquar

  • wtf is so special of giant cougars LOL

  • This is not about big cats, its about those morons releasing them into the wild. Burmese pythons in florida ring a bell?

  • This is not only about the big cats, its about those morons releasing them into the wild. Burmese pythons in florida ringa bell

  • i saw a huge cat near anglesea in about 4 years ago..... scared the shit out of me..... the local farmers were losing dozens of sheep and a local horse breeder lost a 12 week old foal

  • its true i live in australia nsw and have seen a huge cat and the foot prints, we hunting and on our way back it was no more the 20ft in front of us and it jumped from one side of the road 2 the other and ran off into the bush. my dad also seen foot prints on another occasion

  • i cant see why we couldnt have them here. they have plently of food but the problem is with so little sightings the gene pool must be very small meaning they have to breed with other animals? just a theory.

  • If they are really the descendants of escaped animals from the 40s and 60s, yes, they would have to be breeding. On the other hand, here in the States it is not unheard of for people to keep big cats as illegal pets - there is even a private zoo with recovered animals. If the big cats were brought to Australia in a similar manner, they could have escaped and no one would have reported it.

  • hi my name is bob

  • Its a worldwide thing. almost anywhere in the world you can find stories about the Phantom Cats and the Black Dogs.

  • lol these fellas look like they've been on the goon sack the night before , but still its pretty gammin seeing cougars and jags in australia. but i reckon if a few did get out they'd thrive here.

  • In the late 1980's, there was a massive number of livestock mutilated in Exmoor, England, which was put down to a big cat or cats. The British Government sent a squad of Royal Marine Commandos out onto the moors. Even though they didnt shoot or capture any, a few of the Marines said they caught sight of one.

  • This is why i never drink Australian beer. Drink a sex pack of those and you´ll see T-rex break dancing in the hood :-)

  • slack but hilarious lol

  • @Adam031 Whaha ROFLMAO....ok thanks 4 da warning,ill stick 2 heineken....

    BlackMo Amsterdam Holland

  • @Adam031 haha aussie beer is good but whats a sex pack O_o il take one of those

  • @Adam031 Now I might have to start drinking it :D I'd love to see that.

  • @Adam031 Not true but funny comment

  • stupid cat

  • they have them in the u.s. as well, around the central states. i think the only difference is that they are just slightly smaller..

  • The difference between Australia and the US is the US has cats that ARE native and it is possible that a small percentage of these cats are melanistic and have black fur.

  • same thing happening in uk. government are denying it buit everytime they hear of a sighting they send people with guns to kill the cats. in uk lots of rich people kept them as pets in the 60s and 70s n then it became illigal and they been breeding and living in wild according to experts.

  • is a druid cat

  • if i waz there i could of help them catch the big cat without killing them.

  • Machine guns are illegal in Australia.

It only takes one bullet to kill, and your much more likely to hit your target with a good hunting rifle. Also most animal control professionals use dart guns with a powerful sedative.

  • i was traveling on the bay area bart train in the east bay area in california a big jet black cat with a high arched back, higher than the head, with a long thick tail about 100 yards away, striding up a hill . the beats of bodmin looks like the cat i saw and thats really weird. i tried to report it to the regional park services but they kinda blew me off about it. they actually tried to convince me that i didnt see it and it was a misidentification. can u say cover up?...

  • i do not see why the goverment and people refuse to belive this when its happened i bealive in many things and these large cats are in fact real. Theses Things are not legendes

  • ther used to be a cat that lived near me for a few years then one night it got into a fight with a fox.lost its ear aswell in the fight.brave cat.then one day he just died in his sleep under a parked car.RIP

  • okay i know for a fact through word of mouth that there is somebody selling lion cubs, pumas anything you want for the right price, the authoritys have been notified but can't find them they are too elusive just how scary is that, they bring them by boat and get them into the country like that

  • I would assume there is more then 1 person selling cubs here. Australia has a lot of uninhabited coastline making it very easy to smuggle things in.

  • no imposible ! no bigcats in Australia ,

why they not attacking the Humans?0.

    00

  • because there are enough food there for them already in livestock. big cats wont go round looking for humans to kill, these big cats are extremely shy and will keep a very low profile when it comes to humans.

  • got to love the lazy ass ppl who call them selfs hunters and yet they just drive around and are to Fing laxy to even get out of the car to shoot something

  • They are safer in thier vehicles. Big cats are fast and can catch a human

  • it was me forgotten to take medication

    haha nah this is interestin

  • I think it's only a matter of time before they aquire a taste for human flesh!

  • I live in wollongong, NSW Australia.

I have seen a creature up in the escarpment, that did fit the description of a large feral cat or even a cougar. i was bush walking oneday when i heard this big noise in the bushes, and i saw this brownish coloured, four legged creature, race up into the undergrowth, all i clearly saw was its legs and a long sleek tail, it appeared to be a bout 1.5m in body length.

I own a farm out west and local are always finding large Feral cats and culling them off.

  • i live in Wollongong, NSW aus

i was up mt kembla/escarpment yesterday following the coal train track on bike and I clearly saw a huge 1.5m black cat

cheers and ild like to know if there is anyone who has seen or heard anything about big cats up kembla or around wollongong bush area

  • There are deffinatley some big cats in wollongong, i have heard of sightings up in Austinmer and Stanwell Park, and the National Park. weather or not these are actually jaguars or cougars or just really fatass feral cats is hard to say.

They seem to stay clear of people, but there are too many sightings to not take them into consideration.

    cheers,

  • I have also seen large big cat here in the UK. Both Australia and UK are not supposed to have large felines. Something weird going on.

On guy in Wales got attacked. He is still alive but he remembers the large panther swipe at him and run off when he shouted

  • One idea I heard about the big cats in the UK. At one time people could buy big cats in england and you were allowed to keep them legally. In the 70's it was made illegal and people were ordered to turn them in to the proper authorities. In fear of their pets being executed some people just let them go into the wild. The result is, after breeding with large domestic cats such as the Maine Coon, a slightly smaller panther/domestic cat mix.

    This could be a possibility!

  • It will have to be a very large domestic cat to mate with a big cat. But it is very possible that this animal is not a member of the Panthera family BUT something like a gigantic cat (like puma). But then again some eyewitnesses suggest it looks like a black leopard, others a puma, some a mutant cat.

My sighting was too quick to tell the difference

  • Large cats like cougars and leopards can't interbreed with the domestic feline, they're different species. However, it is possible that people may have seen immature leopards or fully grown servals or caracals and mistaken them for domestic-cougar hybrids.

  • I live in nsw gosford east coast of Australia, now I havn't seen a big cat but I have had an encounter with two supernatural things, one a yowie and the other a ghost, the yowie may have been my imagination but the ghost was real

  • i live at mangrove mtn west of gosford and i believe our next door neihbour's young cat got taken up a tree last night and then thrown over the fence i heard something run away from inside(in my bedroom) it was 3am

  • there used to be lots of wildlife parks in western Australia in the 70s and early 80s,they were closed down because ,the animals were not being cared for properly ,and were told to have them destroyed ,australias a big place ,and i heard they were let free in the north west,

  • its all wrong, those are not aliens ... i hate when people say bullshits like that, nature creates new species of the existent animals we have, thats everything. And good for that felines ... i wish they eat retarded people like them.

  • alien means not in it's natural habit in this context, not literally from outer space...

  • so ... kids with down syndrome are aliens too? i mean, its weird the fact that this cats were there but that doesnt mean they are aliens at all ... now that is my suggestion.

  • Please tell me you understand the ecological term "alien"? Alien does not mean "extra terrestrial". It means, as constipateduck says, a creature or plant existing in an area outside of it's natural range such as a big cat in Australia or a grey squirrel in Britain. It's really very simple!

  • ok, next time i see an australian kid here in mexico i will call him alien for existing in an area outside of its natural range.

(my point was about people wondering stupid things about weird animals around them, if they can not understand something it becomes in a weird thing like the "chupacabras")

  • Yes do!! If that Australian is in Mexico illegally he can rightly be called an "illegal alien"

  • its pigs.

  • Stupid Government. Same thing is happening here in UK. Big cats attacking livestock and even people and yet the govt refuses to acknowledge.

  • it could be quite true because lions use to live all over urope but were extinect by the uropeans so it wouldnt suprise me if some sort of big cat lived there

  • @sonofthedestroyer like the unexplained
