  • 156 is now repainted in hertage colors right!!

  • they dont need a P42 on there to push only 2 cars. they need a new less powerful engine to go on the shuttle service trains

  • @SuperCoolDMan DMUs would be ideal

  • @trainmanlars they did (SPV-2000s) but they were unreliable

  • shuttle?

  • Nice Horn for a cabcar

  • SPV 2000 cars were a Failure.

Too Bad. They were converted to Constitution Liners and used on SLE service.

  • Just my own opinion but seeing a 4250 HP diesel used on just 2 cars is a waste. I know RDC's are out of date and SPV-2000's were the biggest failures on rails but to me diesel MU's would burn much less fuel and be much more economical to run than a diesel locomotive that's made to pull 10 cars.

  • @RDG484 how about a GP38H-3

  • I didn't know that metroliner cab cars were used outside of keystone/pennsylvanian service. Not a short train. Most shuttles are 2 cars. The princeton shuttle in NJ is 2 EMU cars. The NYC subway's 42nd street shuttle is 3 cars vs 8 or 10 on all the other routes. :)

  • i see it all the time, in wallingford, ct

  • cool amfleet cab car

  • I remember those on the surfline in california all the time before the new equipment arrived. Love em!

  • I know, I wish they still had a few

  • @lennonandlauren These used to operate on Metroliner Service. Then, they lost their pantographs.

  • good k5la!

  • hahaha! tiny train!

  • See it up close. It's BIG!
