  • is the new screen gorilla glass?

  • Can you guys make a video on how to change the outer glass/lens on the front of the device? Not the entire LCD/Digitizer, but just the outer glass (like the ones you can buy for $15 on eBay). Please make a video of how to change it. Thanks.

  • This is my dream phone I'm going to buy a phone with a broken screen & fix it myself as I can afford that. :D

  • my galaxy s2 got very hot from the camera side, less than one minute while playing any game. Is it a hardware problem or any fault in game? do my motherboard got change? i went to service they upgrade my firmware to 2.3.6, but still it got heatup, now they are saying your motherboard will be change.. is it gonna work like new one after changing the motherboard? or it got more faulty?

  • hi i replace the screen but in the video is not so clear how to change the botons' for back, home and enter so the screen is working fine but the below button's don't work, can you help me.

  • Awesome music!

  • i bought this phone two days ago and it broke i think that that is really shit i mean when you pay that much for a phone is really that hard to make it out of somthing stronger it really pissed me off and my family said it would happen and that i needed to get insurance i was gonna today but i was to late now i dont want them to find out so i need to know where to get a replacement front for the white version?

  • So you have to actually break the old screen? and could you like use a hair dryer/oven to do the heating? or would that melt the screen?

  • I think heating the screen with a hot-air gun and then pulling the screen out with a suction cup is a much more elegant way of doing it.

The way you break the old screen on your samsung is very painful to watch.

  • when i get shattered glass like this i put a piece of boxing tape over the lcd, it keeps it in tact and prevent you from getting any accidental cuts or losing shards of glass on your desk and finding them later with your bare skin. nice job but your going to regret it a few months down the road when the inside of your device starts to form corrosion from the oil on your skin being left behind on the motherboard.

  • Hey I have a question. If i get a i9100 screen will it fit on a usa att i777?

  • seriously, they GLUE THIS THING TOGETHER WHAT SHIT QUALITY OMG I CANT BELIEVE THIS.

broke my SGS 2 screen today and this is just BS.

  • And if so, where can I get a replacement of the rear part?

Do you happen to sell them?

A rapid response will be super appreciated..

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi,

I suddently dropped my S2 in the water , while I was shaving my beard and having a phone call..

I removed it immediately, dryed it with the hairdryer , and everything was working fine, except from the audio....

I disassembled it , and it seems that the speaker is located in the part of the rear part of the phone, and is powered via induction with some contacts on the main board..

So I figured out that maybe if I replace the rear part, I will be getting new speakers..

    Could that work?

  • Hi. If i need to replace the 3.5 audio jack, is there any soldering involved?

  • YOU CAN GET THAT FIXED RIGHT HERE AT EVEREST,YOU KNO.....

  • That was like watching someone being disembowelled. Not that I do that sort of thing! Hope I won`t have to take my samsung apart.

  • Poor lighting, cant see much of what I need to see.

  • @sandieguitoadult Next time we'll record w/ better lighting.

  • Yeah, and also just removing the display from the housing intact, so as to replace the housing but keep the same screen.

  • @slazehmen Do it very, very carefully. Heat the front with a heat gun, use a plastic spudger. Take your time.

  • @iFixYouri

Thanks. Any ideas on how to glue the old display to the new housing though? I'm assuming most of the old glue will stick to the old housing, so what glue should I use, if any?

  • @slazehmen Don't use glue...use a 3M adhessive...similar to the one pictured on our website. Search for 'adhesive' in the search bar on our main page at the bottom. It won't let us paste a link in here.

  • @iFixYouri I searched and only found Full Frame Adhesive for iPhone 3GS, and a bunch of irrelevant stuff. I tried looking on Google for this adhesive but 3M has dozens of types of adhesives :(

  • @iFixYouri

If you search "2x adhesive sticker lcd" on ebay, there are some tape adhesives for the iPhone 3GS, you think that if I cut those in the right shape I can use them to paste the AMOLED display to a new housing?

  • @slazehmen Yep!

  • Alright man, thanks a lot for all your help.

  • You mean separating the glass from the LCD?

  • @iFixYouri Yes, I would also like to know this. I only need to replace the glass, but is this even possible with the fused screen? It seems like a foolish design choice by Samsung not to be able to replace the glass separately. Any help would be appreciated!

  • Is there no way to replace the screen without breaking the old screen?
