I would never get a GT3 or GT2 because I don't go to the track. The main reason I like the standard "Turbo" is because it's a high performance daily driver.
oh, well, AWD is a good format for a "gran touring" kind of car. But if you have a nice car, you should drive it fast some times nevertheless. I thought that was the whole point to getting a sports car.
Well with such a lightweight car, it's almost required to have AWD to put 500lb-ft. of torque on the ground, especially from a stop. IMO it makes the 911 safer and more predictable, and the universal sign of a "good" car is one that's easy to drive, even at high speed.
Well I'm sure the Porsche AWD system uses a variable torque biasing between the front and the rear, if not to each corner as well. The Subaru STi and Mitsubishi Evolution IX even have that, and I doubt Porsche would be caught without the latest technology.
AWD is a joke, a turbo is an even bigger one, get a GT3 RS
