  • The "Prehistoric Jackson5!" Too Bad there wasn't a Joe Jackson to keep the group in check!

  • i am definitely a fan of Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers.

So sad that he died so young.

And at the way he died is also very sad.

    using drugs and alcohol...

    Rip frankie Lymon

  • I randomly found this song on my iPod for some reason. The best accident EVER!!

  • Wish such music to be created now-days, so that it will clean out all the "computer sounds" that they call music and that real talent can live again!!!

  • The biggest drug for musicians was heroin - the downfall of so many.

  • um... i meant 2:16

  • music starts @ 2:126

  • Thanks for posting, SO awesome!

  • Now we know where the Singing Chipmunks got the idea of the sweaters from..the Teenagers!

  • Talent pure talent........

  • must be mexicans jumping the fence :)

  • how many of the original members are still alive today? 10 years ago, Herman Santiago and Jimmy Merchant were all that was left of the basal group, still performing.

  • what a talent, what a tragedy. Just one of many to secumb to drugs. What a waste. Great song.

  • i have the movie

  • Good!

  • from example of Michael Jackson, started more

    more little child!!

    Die at 19 years!

  • Frankie was 25 when he died.

  • lol i know rigghhht........ my parentz wasnt born either lolz well obviously

  • Black and white TV. No computers. No digital anything. We lived life anyway and sometimes it was better. As for Rap music, well this song is Rock and Roll and not born out of the drug era.

  • there were drugs even back them but people did them behind close doors, and the drug most abused was alcohol. And many were scared of Rock and Roll back then that it would change society and it did for the better.

  • great did you know frankie appeared at the lodon palladium in a filmed version as he was to young to sing live becauseof equity laws

  • Thanks very much.

  • What a beautiful group of children... young recording stars always steal my heart-- I just adore them! As for the life he led-- Maybe he was so precocious that he knew his time on Earth would be swift and short-- maybe this is why he lived his life in the way that he did... only God and Frankie know. RIP Frankie... I hope you are resting comfortably and that you are at peace. xoxoxo you'll NEVER be forgotten, sweetheart.

  • So well said.

  • hot hot

  • frankie lymon was so cute!!!!when he was young i wish he was still alive and woulden't of died.

  • He (Frankie Lymon) was funny and so adorable.

  • The devils music! You have to remember that this "newfangled" Rock&Roll music(1956) was looked upon the same way as we view "Gangsta Rap" today! Are All of them deceased? I think 2 are still alive;Herman Santiago& Jimmy Merchant-atleast they were alive 8 years ago!(My, how time flies?) A totally different and innocent era(But the 1950s did have their problems-rampant racism-what else is new?& NO COMPUTERS!-Oh GOD!!!)

  • amazing video! loved the dance moves

  • frankie lymon!!! classic!!! i never saw them live on video, just those corny Alan Freed movies. no disrespect to Moondog!!

  • the movie of frankies life was awesome

  • Frankie Lymon looks like Gary Coleman

  • lol i didn't even see this post but i completely agree

  • The instrumentalists' closing chord is oddly off key. This has led to endless debate.

  • Yes, it is off at the end... very...

  • And they think Michael Jackson's good!

  • Cause The Jackson 5 and Michael JAckson are good. And It doesn't mean that Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers aren't..

  • This is some classic stuff!!! Thanx for posting it.

  • Y0U G0T T0 L0VE THiS S0NG <33

  • OMG, I grew up listening to these songs from my mom playing them. This is a true classic. I love Frankie Lymon. Too bad he had to die at such a young age. He was really talented.....

  • Hi summer, Come to my bed and I will end your miserable existance!!!

  • WNEW in New York, the station that later spawned Sandy Becker, Chuck McCann and of course Soupy Sales when he came here. I didn't realize Frankie's show was on NEW. This great footage. To have a great standard singer like Laine acknowledge the soaring popularity of rock was quite a classy move where most, like Sinatra, would disparage it from the get go.

  • cute voice frankie!

  • haha sweet. my brother and i love the low part in the beginning.

  • Double-Wow! This was from a time when you actually had to be able to sing to get a record deal. Imagine that.

  • lol.

  • This is what YouTube is for!

  • Boomer song ! Great

  • No Frankie Lymon no Michael Jackson or Donny Osmond..No Teenagers No Jackson 5 OR Osomond Brothers.

  • WOW! Frankie Lymon, the first Black Teen idol! He influenced many a later singer including Diana Ross. RIP, Frankie.

  • he was also the first rock and roll teen idol!

  • i luvvv this song. Thanks for putting it up!

  • They ARE SOOOO GREAT! LOVE THEM

  • reached no1 in the uk

  • another choice piese of music history...
